The manager there her name
is Joie, absolutely an appauling human. One of her staff made my check in very unpleasant so I wrote a review about the experience calling the behaviour very uncanadian. The manager Joie proceeded to email me calling me a racist. Which I am not I have mixed children in fact so a completely disgusting statement. I then defended myself and my position. I went to extend my stay she said no. Went to another hotel owned by the same group and this coward of a human said there was rooms until she saw my identification. When she then said oh there is a problem with my system and now we have no rooms. I said "ahh you must be Joie" where she then told me we don't accept your kind here. But apparently I am the racist. If a white person said this imagine the backlash. I've spoken to corporate but as long as this is who they are employing my business is something this chain will not be getting. Don't be like Joie.

I didn't use the pool as I got in kinda late but waffles for breakfast yum! And clean. There is an older carpet smell but not their fault, it's just old and it was storming before I got there. Would stay again.

Fine but not friendly - efficient
Pros:

Long check in line and the group ahead of me asked for a available rooms and were told the hotel was completely full. No offer of assistance finding another hotel for them. Maybe they don't do that in Canada? In the USA, they call ahead to another Quality Inn on your route or possibly another hotel in town to verify they have rooms available. Just seemed very uncaring.
