No big deal but I could not get the TV to find more than 1 channel. Otherwise great value for the money. Would stay again
Comfortable room at a great price.
Noisy elevator.
We stayed at this hotel for the second time during our visit to Hattiesburg, and all the staff were exceptionally kind and welcoming and deserve special praise. Everyone we met was warm, helpful, polite, and genuinely pleasant, and they made us feel very welcome throughout our stay. Their attitude and service really stood out and made a very positive impression on us. The hotel is a very good option if you are staying in Hattiesburg for a few days. It is a typical roadside hotel by the highway, with clean and spacious rooms and very good overall service.
This hotel is very lucky to have such kind and dedicated staff.
Nothing. The hotel met our expectations, and we were very pleased with everything.
Very nice and good price
Location, familiarity
The bathrooms had not been cleaned in specific areas, (under the sink ).
Nice place to stay
Nothing
The staff were very nice & good location.
The rooms were very outdated & needed repair. The mattresses were very worn & not comfortable at all. The pillows had no fluff at all & were very uncomfortable.
Breakfast area was clean. The food was tasty.
TOO MANY animals!
Good central location.
I saw 4 ROACHES within the first hour of checking in! I stayed a year ago and it wasn’t bad then. The place seems to be going downhill.
The staff was friendly and courteous.
The building needs upgrading.
Friendly staff. Overall comfortable to stay in.
Needs updated. Very worn.
The room they originally put is in was filthy dirty. The sofa in the executive room (for which we were paying extra space) looked like a dog had urinated on it. The stain and smell was obvious. There were also other stains on the sofa showing it had happened before. There was also black mildew stains in the shower.
We went down and asked to change rooms. At first we were told they were full. We said we would leave and go to another hotel and asked for a zero dollar charged receipt. All of a sudden they had more rooms.
They had the housekeeper show us a second room which was equally disgusting, and then a third room which we accepted.
That room ended up not having internet. We used the hotspot on our phones for the two days we were there.
The housekeepers never made up our room after the first night. The gentleman at the desk told us they were all gone for the day and gave us clean towels. He was exceptionally nice, and apologized at lease 100 times.
The television was the strangest we have ever seen in a hotel. All the channels were labeled incorrectly and when you changed channels it took 5-10 seconds for the channel to come up. No news channels other than FOX BUSINESS.
Overall, I would say this is the worst hotel we have stayed in over the past 10-years. We love Wyndham hotels, have one scheduled for a week in August of this year, and will say this was out of character for that chain.
They said they were in need of major renovations and gave us 5000 extra Wyndham points to apologize. I would have preferred a clean, nice room.
The location is excellent, very near Hardy Street and the University. There is a nice Mugshots restaurant next door.
