Pros:

Didn’t know what to expect with it being part of the uni (not mentioned in booking app) and the cost but have to say it was a real surprise. Quite ‘corporate’ but staff were fab rooms very clean and comfortable. 24/7 bar , evening meal if we wanted , and the breakfast was second to none I’ve had at more expensive hotels

Great value and Great locatuon
Pros:

Spacious building, breakfast staff service, curteous reception, set in a quiet beautiful area within 10 min walk to the Botanical Garden, free parking and excellent ground. Very clean and good quality free coffee and biscuits.

Cons:

the room we booked was comfortable but slightly small. However, the ensuite bathroom was large with a large shower area.

Peaceful stay where we felt cared about.
Pros:

Instructions for the Nespresso machine. So many hôtel/ apartment stays have resulted in different machines which are tricky to work out with one eye closed in the morning! I also loved the snacks on the corridors. The breakfast looked excellent too, although I only took continental. Thd shower was hot , powerful and very roomy.

Cons:

No.

Enjoyable and comfortable stay
Pros:

Very good cooked breakfast (particularly the Eggs Florentine & Eggs Benedict special - on 2 muffin halves so a lot of food!), liked the snack bar on every floor too. Quiet and clean room, comfortable bed. Good location for us (near Uni and easy to get out to Peaks) and always got a parking space.

Cons:

once we couldn't get a response to buzzer on the car park barrier - we drove round to other entrance by which time buzzer was answered but apparently both barriers attended to the same way (by both Jonas & Halifax Hall reception desk, just unusual that both away from desk at that time it seems). 3 separate cars affected, causing a bit of traffic chaos.
