Really nice and quiet location, close to the Botanical gardens. Staff were very helpful and did their utmost to make sure the stay was good.
The room was a little small but still comfortable. Watch out for the dribbly air con unit at breakfast!
We were upgraded to a suite which was fantastic. Superb breakfast, high quality with lots of choice.
Also ate at the restaurant in the evening, good food and good service. Free parking. In the Endcliffe area which is pretty and very leafy, very close to Endcliffe student village which suited us, but also not too far from the centre - walkable.
Didn't really bother us, but no lift and our suite was on the second floor. Important to know this if you have mobility problems.
The room was clean and the bed was comfortable. It's not to far away from city centre just a short walk. The breakfast was lovely with lots of choice.
We ordered our cooked breakfast, then went to get our drinks along with some fruit and yoghurt to start. We'd not been sat down long, eating our fruit and yoghurt when our cooked breakfast came out. We could have done with a few more minutes just to finish eating before the cooked breakfast came out. This made us feel a little rushed. Which was a shame because up till then we'd felt very relaxed. On a positive, everything was cooked beautiful, it was just a shame it sat for a few minutes cooling down before we could start eating it. If we get chance to come and stay again, I will make sure I ask for the cooked breakfast to be held a little longer, to give us chance to enjoy the cereal/fruit/yoghurt etc that are on offer.
Location is convenient
The room was tiny! We've stayed in Singapore and got a bigger room!
Found the room a bit small, but bathroom was good with excellent shower. Bed was OK but found the pillows a bit too firm. Room layout was a bit awkward with the table next to the wardrobe. Nice view to the garden.
Better choice of pillows needed. Didn't use the coffee machine which took up a lot of room on the small table. Was given a kettle to use for teas, but would have preferred a small fridge. I know there was a supply of milk along the corridor but my wife does drink lots of tea!
love the range of snacks and fresh milk available on every floor
Room was small but did have everything we needed. Breakfast was good but service was slow. Didn't like the coffee machine as very loud and could hear them in other rooms. Would rather just have instant coffee personally
