Excellent historic Haveli in the walls of Jaisalmer Fort.
Pros:

Genuine historic Haveli (Merchants House) right in the heart of Jaisalmer Fort.
Accommodation was in a fantastic location actually in the Fort walls, fabulous terrace with wonderful views, some of the best in town. Extremely friendly, happy and helpful staff. Excellent home cooked food, tasty and generous portions. Such good value for money and we really felt at home.
We were met outside the fort and our bags were taken up to the room on the back of their motorcycle and we walked up to the hotel as no tuk tuks are allowed within the fort during the day.
Jaisalmer was our favourite place in Rajasthan, a butter coloured fairytale fortress with medieval narrow streets bustling with life. It is definitely for the more adventurous type and you need to be able to walk well as there are many steps, inclines and uneven surfaces throughout the town and as it is a very old building, the accommodation has no lift. We had 4 brilliant days there and would recommend staying at least 3 days to get to know the town, chill out and go with the flow.
The town is off the beaten track for foreign tourists and takes time to get there, it is very popular with locals and gets busy and crowded after 1100 so try to visit the fort before this.
Take warm clothes if visiting in winter (high) season as it gets cold in the evening and early morning- best to wear layers rather than thick jumpers.

Clean, comfortable beds, great restaurant. The food in the restaurant was delicious, with views from the rooftop over looking the fort and town. Staff were all very helpful. Would definitely recommend a stay here.

The location and hospitality is fantastic. It's located inside the jaisalmer fort. The staff are excellent and warmth from everyone is par excellence. The food is also top notch

There's nothing to point out as such. Only thing... Elderly people may face a little bit of a problem if the entry of autos to the fort is restricted as one has to hike up to the fort and to the hotel for 500 mtrs odd
