Unexpectedly delighted with location
Pros:

We chose this on price and proximity to the graduation location. When we got there, the location had bonuses - an Indian Restaurant downstairs, where we could treat our vegetarian daughter to dinner, overlooking a park. The meal was a bit on the expensive side, but worth it. Later we walked down to the ferris wheel, ice cream stands and beach (only 1 block away) and along the waterfront. The boardwalk makes for easy walking, as we didn't have to go on the sand. We got to see the "Spirit of Tasmania" going by (must have been the right time of day). One swimming area is enclosed with shark bars and there is a kids pool nearby with a fountain and plenty of seats for parents.
The motel was within easy walking distance of our event and the motel kindly allowed us to leave the car there for a few hours, as the Geelong parking is daunting for country people like us. The beds had plenty of space and there was a small table available and bowls and cutlery - we could have brought our own breakfast if we had known. We ended up having breakfast at the cafe located conviently across the street from our window.
Both beds were large and both had reading lights.
We would definitely stay there again - location is great and also within walking distance of Wool Museum.

Cons:

One of the lights in the stairwell was out. The entry light to our room was out.

It’s a motel not hotel, at the add said it’s a hotel but when we get there we found it’s a motel , that’s was disappointing

Good value motel in a great location.
Pros:

We have stayed here about 6 times over the years. An annual golf trip. Beds were clean as was the bathroom. Great location. Good value for money.

Cons:

Rooms are getting a bit dated and could do with a freshen up. The car-park could do with a good clean up - rubbish lying around.

Ok if you only plan on sleeping there whilst attending an event.
Pros:

Good location, good water pressure in the shower

Cons:

Very old rooms that are in desperate need of a refresh. Rubbish bins hadn’t been emptied and toilet paper had no replacement. Very worn out appearance inside and rubbish etc laying about the car park.

It served its purpose to catch the ferry the next morning.
Pros:

We booked as it was close to the Esplanade.

Cons:

The car park and exterior looked neglected, rubbish and poor external lighting / no lighting on the internal staircase didn’t provide a welcome or feeling of security.

Good holiday stay
Pros:

The shipping mall was close and there’re some places drink and eat. It was convenient area.

Cons:

With the two queen beds, it was a bit squeezed to put two large suitcases on the floor.
And the outlet was set only by the tv and not around the beds.
