Good value for money
Pros:

Easy parking at your door

Cons:

Quite dangerous getting into the property when there's lots of traffic- ended up using back entrance

Pros:

Good location, good price.

Cons:

Staff didn't actually check ID, just handed a key. TV didn't work, no signal. Rooms were very loud in terms of other patrons - could hear a lot. Not that that's anyone's fault, just a note.

Time to invest in upgrading for the price paid. Lots of better hotels in town for the price

The shower cap also had a hair tie

Cons:

It is due for a refurb.
Very tired for the price.
Shower pan was in a good need of a scrub. Pleased I brought my thongs.
Desk chairs are ready for the tip.

Good value basic stay hotel.
Pros:

The wifi was good, free and easy to sign into. I appreciated that it had a smart tv so I could log into streaming services if I wanted to. The beds were comfortable. I liked that there was a key drop box for checking out so I wouldn't need to speak to staff if in a rush. I also liked that it was quiet.

Cons:

The rooms could definitely do with a bit of a refresh. The style has aged significantly. I liked that the TV was a smart tv, but it definitely felt a bit small for the room. The cleanliness wasn't brilliant- only the one toilet roll that was on the handle, and it had clearly been wet and dried out- which doesn't feel great. I also stepped on a tiny piece of broken glass on the carpet (which I know isn't strictly their fault- if they weren't made aware that the previous person staying had broken a glass then they may not know to be super thorough in vacuuming it).

All in all a great weekend 🙌
Pros:

Room was quite large so you didn't feel claustrophobic and tea and coffee facilities were ample. Bathroom and room was very clean. All in all a very good experience. My husband loved it .

Cons:

Furniture a bit old and no detergent to wash cups
