Pros:

Thai-cottage im Garten. Täglich Livemusik bis 23 Uhr. Ist im Zimmer zu hören, was überhaupt nicht störend war. Man wohnt im trop. Garten, dass Tiergeräusche zu hören sind ist eben die Natur. Frühstück vielfältig. Wer sich nichts findet ist selbst schuld.
Mopedparkplatz vorhanden.
Sehr zentral gelegen

Alles bestens.
Ein paar Liegen anstatt ausschließlich den Liegesäcken wären anzudenken. Liegen zum Mieten gibt es nur wenige Schritte entfernt (200 Baht pro Tag).
Beleuchtung der Klimaanlage erhellt das Zimmer, blaues, sehr helles Licht. Wir haben es mit einem Handtuch abgedeckt.

Good stay but the island smells which is a big shame.
Pros:

Great location very good hotel. Beds where the best I’ve slept in, in Thailand. Shame the island smells of waste and sewage far too much.

Fabulous 6 days
Pros:

Fabulous location, beach is stunning and plenty going on in the evenings. Hotel was so relaxing, set in beautiful neat tidy gardens, full of fairy lights at night. Our room was huge and had everything you’d need, beach towels, beach bag, flip flops etc - felt more like a 4 star hotel. Staff were welcoming and super helpful. Amazing pick up service from the mainland pier, we chose the hotels speed boat service. Breakfast was great we loved the egg chef girls, they were always smiling. Really wonderful 6 days and I highly recommend it. We will be back again. Thank you.

Ostrov, plaze, priroda.

Cons:

To, ze jsme dostali horsi pokoj nez jsme objednali a zaplatili a teprve po slozitem jednani nas prestehovali do spravneho pokoje ale ty komplikace nam trochu kazili jinak krasne zazitky. Nakonec nam dali i kompenzaci za rozdil cen pokoju, ale booking.com by se mel hotelu optat, jak zachazi s jejich rezervacemi.

pedimos una cama supletoria y nos pusieron una colchoneta en el suelo .

They don’t need me as customer - as I got told by a hotel staff member
Pros:

I booked Grand View Resort because of its beachfront location, which is honestly the main selling point of this hotel. Unfortunately, my experience was extremely disappointing and I ended up checking out early.

The beach service was the worst I have ever experienced in my life. We spent about six hours on the bean bags and were served only once during that entire time. For a hotel that promotes its beach atmosphere, this level of service is completely unacceptable.

When I finally went to the beach bar to address the issue, the bar chef reacted in a way that shocked me. Instead of apologizing or trying to improve the situation, he told me word for word: “I have enough customers and I don’t need you.” This is, without exaggeration, the most disrespectful thing I have ever heard from a leading hotel staff member. At that moment, it became very clear to me that staying longer would only ruin my holiday further. I left the beach bar immediately and decided to check out of the hotel.

In my opinion, there are many better places to stay on Koh Samet with staff who understand hospitality and basic respect. If you have other options, I strongly recommend choosing a different hotel.
