Bad customer service at check in
Dirty rooms with hairs in the bed
Bathroom with rust everywhere
Mattress super old and not comfortable.

The hotel was in ok condition, little hard for our driver to find. Had a generator so even with the power outages, the power stayed on.

Good hotel for stay also the price is fair
Reception staff was very helpful also the room boys too next time sure visit the hotel for the stay good location close to the galle road and resturants value of money power cuts but it was not effected because hotel has a genarator for backup

easy acess to many important landmarks in colombo. so i stayed several time on my business visits. this is one of the best customer friendly hotels in the Heart of Colombo. well maintained, clean,spacious rooms. fast internet,
frinedy staff always targeti in individualized customer care.

Excellent service, very friendly. There was one to one attention to every customer. The room was cozy and worthy the amount we paid. The ambience gave me the feels of home. They made sure the cleanliness was maintained. Thank you so much. I enjoyed my stay.

Ordered mee goring thro Pick Me for delivery. The delivery was on time by Pick Me. When the food was delivered it was warm. The mee goring was tasty. It includes a fried egg. The package was properly sealed for delivery.

Hands down probably one of the best chillie chicken kothu ive had in a long time! The food was great .Will give pilawoos and plaza a run for their money
They also have a tasty selection of pasta which is a must have!

Ceylon city is a very nice hotel. It was recommended to me by one of my frnds. Location near to marine drive, helpful hotel staff, clean rooms, within budget. Will love to come with family when icome colombo as a tourist👍👍😊😊

Location - Very close to Galle road and marine drive.
Bus stop at 100m. Several shopping malls near by and eating places also.
Staff - Friendly and helpful
Room - average

Negative -
Not properly maintained. Dusty and not properly cleaned rooms. I feel house keeping service is not doing their job properly.
Breakfast is average buffet which you can have at low priced restaurants.
Things to do:
Maintain the property properly with well trained staff.
House keeping should be improved with quality staff with close superfician.

Presently staying at this Hotel for a few days.
The Hotel is quite nice with all basic facilities in the rooms. Breakfast is fine too.

Its located in a street , just 10 steps to the Main road - Galle Road and 25 steps from Marine Drive.

Quite reasonably priced too

There was no hot water come out at the night I stayed and bathroom wasn’t clean enough and little bit smelly.... seemed like you haven’t got any guest to the room long time ...

Keep up the good work. The staffs are friendly & helpful. Amenities also completed. Good location which is closed to Keels supermarket. Can get tuk tuk to go to Galle Face beach,or walk to Marino Mall.

This hotel is located in very good location,easy excess to transport,shopping and restaurants.The staff of the hotel is always very friendly and ready to assist with any requests.the food from restaurant is very good.Breakfast can be improved with additional ittems.overall very clean and very nice rooms.

Reservation was cancelled right before arrival. Addressed this issue with staff who failed to not uphold my booking or the price it was purchased at. Claimed to have given me a better deal with breakfast included. However, I was denied breakfast on the first day and did not consume any meals during my stay but was charged. Not a bad hotel choice, just wish the rooms were more spacious. Rooms are very cramped for excess furniture and decor. Staff was pleasant with luggage carry and assisting with tour bookings and finding taxis. Enjoyed my stay despite those small hiccups experienced. For a little more, there are better hotel options right down the street facing the beach.

Had 1 night here arriving very early in the morning off a flight. We were allowed to check in in the early hours and they were very helpful allowing us to use their phone to attempt to locate our lost luggage. They were kind and provided us with toothbrushes and toothpaste. The room was average, small but had the necessities. The walls and doors are extremely thin and we had very noisy and rude neighbours meaning we didn’t sleep a wink. Breakfast was a buffet of typical Sri Lankan food plus eggs and pancakes. It’s located in the city a short distance from main sights.

Nice and helpful staff. Spacious king size room. Clean room. Nice food. Good view of the sea from the 4th floor restaurant. But construction work on the opposite building.

In built travel adapter wall unit was a nice touch, great buffet with vegetarian options.
Honestly better food than higher priced and higher star rated hotels I stayed in during the remainder of my trip.

Decent rooms, nothing too fancy, but definitely worth its price.
Could do with improved exhaust in the bathrooms, but that's only if I really try to nitpick tiny faults.

The property is located between Galle Road and Marine Drive. Galle Road goes all the way to Galle and Marine Drive runs along the sea. You can see the sea from the 4th floor restaurant. It on a narrow quiet road. I booked a non smoking king size room and I got a good room on the 3rd floor. There is construction going on opposite the property although I understand that it's a small one. The staff are friendly, knowledgeable and helpful especially Rifaz and Captain. The hotel do not sell alcohol but there are other hotels around that sell it. The property is clean with good and comfortable beds but it's not a 5 star hotel. The food is a mix of continental and local dishes. The chef will serve you customised omelette although it's a buffet breakfast, with you own chosen ingredients.
