I would recommend to anyone to stay at sandyford lodge
Pros:

The staff were so helpful during our stay couldn’t have done more to make us feel welcome A1 . Very central to all restaurants, pubs , shopping.

Wirklich zu empfehlen
Pros:

Wir hatten ein relativ frisch renoviertes Zimmer, dass swgr schön eingerichtet ist. Es hat ein großes sauberes Bad. Das Frühstück im hotel nebenan war auch gut für dieses Kategorie, sehr freundliches Personal.

a good stay in a very wet Glasgow.
Pros:

Location was close to the Kelvingrove venue which was the purpose for the trip. The hotel was what you would expect of any other hotel, staff were polite, the room was based on 3 of us so yes but it did its purpose. Cheers to the staff.

Pros:

Excellent location for a work trip at the Glasgow university, as well as for exploring the city centre and nature areas within the city. Very quiet street. Also good soundproofing, almost no noise from other rooms/bathrooms.

Cons:

I missed the Earl Grey tea option for the breakfast, otherwise everything was great!

The smell of Mould was overpowering .. and the staff reaction was poor .. do not stay here.

When we arrived the room had a mouldy smell that was coming from the toilet area .. they cleaned it when we were out ... but were only masking the problem the smell was back by the time we woke up ... not a drain smell .. more like a black mould smell .. extract fan was not going to the outside merely discharged the air above the Shower room .. we discussed the smell several times and advised they should not be letting a room out in such a condition as it can lead to health issues ... there was little reply ... im sure this is not the first time this has been raised .. yet they continue to let the room

Pros:

everything was correct and clean and staff was also nice. Bathroom was correct though

Cons:

cushions had torn covers and some old spots which even if clean does not really give you a good feeling. i guess this place overall is due to some renovations.

Great location, staff lovely. Lovely breakfast. Have used this hotel along with Sandyford Hotel on a number of occasions
