The price is very appealing, but would suggest looking elsewhere.
Pros:

staff were all very nice. The bed was very comfortable. Oddly enough the staff had enough time to come in and make the bed and replace towels daily, just not enough time (or maybe care) to really clean well. The price was really good, but in this case not worth the savings.

Cons:

well, there is budget friendly and outdated which are good, but outdated and not maintained or cleaned is another. Sadly the floors (in our room anyway) were full of bumps and sinkhole. So much that the bedside table drawer would not stay closed. The radiators looked like they hadn't been hoovered out in many months,same with under the bed. Wallpaper peeling off the wall. Just so much neglect. Could be just they don't care.

Cheap hotel. Rooms awkward . Not worth money
Pros:

Location was good to university

Cons:

Room was small attic with sloped ceiling. Not good for anyone above 5’. Heater over heated room into sauna. Bathroom so tight sink was in lap when using toilet

Other than being on the top floor without a lift. Everything else was good.
Pros:

Breakfast was very good. Room 401 top floor with no lift was a let down. Friendly staff

Bon emplacement pour découvrir Glasgow.
Pros:

Hôtel situé à la porte du magnifique parc de Kelvingrove et à 20 mn à pied du centre de Glasgow. Très calme et bien insonorisé.
Bon rapport qualité-prix.

Cons:

Décoration désuète mais qui explique le prix relativement bas.

Cheap and cheerful
Pros:

Have stayed here twice now - the staff are very welcoming and happy to help with any queries and the location is perfect for visiting the Hydro or travelling further from Exhibition centre station which are both a 10 minute walk away.

Rooms are compact but fine for a night or 2 with ensuite shower, toilet and sink facilities. The beds are so comfy that I checked the mattress label to buy one for home.

Cons:

It didn't impact our stay but if I had to make a suggestion the rooms could do with a freshen up as they're quite dated and noticed a few decor imperfections - felt at a bit of a mismatch with the lovely, fresh reception area.

The shower cubicles are also very small, the water pressure in our 3rd floor room wasn't great but the 1st floor was fine.
