Grundsätzliche Empfehlung für Kurztrip mit einigen Abstrichen in guter Lage.
Pros:

Unschlagbar war die preisgünstige Lage mit Nähe zum OVO Hydro, wo wir an betreffendem Abend hin mussten.
Insgesamt waren die Zimmer mit allem ausgestattet, was man für zwei Übernachtungen brauchte und die Lage am schönen Uni-Viertel, sowie dem Kelvingrove-Park & /Museum wirklich praktisch.

Die Mitarbeitenden an der Rezeption waren insgesamt freundlich und zugewandt.

Das Frühstück ist in Ordnung und man wird für den Start in den Tag durchaus satt.

Cons:

Beim zweiten und letzten Frühstück wurden wir aus irgendwelchen Gründen angemeckert, weil wir nicht direkt ganz früh morgens, sondern etwas mehr als eine halbe Stunde vor Ablauf der Frühstückszeiten kamen. Dieses Schicksal blieb den nach uns Ankommenden erspart. Schade, denn ansonsten war die Mitarbeiter-Erfahrung recht positiv.

Die Unterkunft mutet etwas in die Jahre gekommen an. Absolut okay für einen Kurztrip, aber nichts wo man noch Jahre danach von schwärmt. Die Vorhänge waren etwas dreckig und dadurch ein bisschen eklig.

Man wurde gebeten, den Zimmerschlüssel an der Rezeption zu lassen und bei Verlust für entsprechende Kosten in Rechnung gebeten zu werden... Zimmerkarten würden helfen :)

Außerdem sollten wir bei Check-In eine Kreditkarte angeben, warum genau wurde uns nicht erklärt. Bei anderen Hotels/B+Bs in Schottland hatten wir so etwas nicht erlebt...

Good location with helpful staff
Pros:

Location was ideal, it was clean and staff were friendly. Breakfast was lovely and overall a very pleasant stay.

Cons:

The keys are old school and need to be handed in each time when heading out.

In the room I stayed in there were two bright red light circuit breakers for the shower right beside the bed.

Staff were warm and welcoming. It was in a good location for the Ovo Hydro.

Cons:

The room was very dated. The shower, although clean was very old. We were on 3rd floor and ceiling had obviously been fixed but not decorated. Curtains were cream, so let in light from 5am, and traffic on a busy road kept me awake all night, even after a few wines! However the bed was comfortable and white bedding and towels were spotless! I would stay here again, but ask for a different room as it was close to venue and a few bars and restaurants.

Pros:

Gute Lage im angesagten Fienniston, gegen über ein hervorragendes indisches Restaurant, 500m weiter ein weiteres, beide empfohlen von indisch stämmigen Bewohnern.

Cons:

Einfaches, britisches Frühstück. Eier etc. auf Bestellung. Leider ohne Gurken, Tomaten, Salat. Im Zimmer ließ sich lediglich eines von zwei Fenstern einen Spalt öffnen. Der Toilettensitz wackelte heftig, eine Bürste fehlte. es sind vom obersten Geschoß 81 Stufen bis zum Frühstücksraum. Im Bad führte noch eine Tür zu einem ungenutzten Abstellraum die sich leider nicht ganz schließen lies, es zog also heftig.

Basic but perfect for a couple of nights :)
Pros:

Staff were lovely, helpful and friendly. The room.was clean and the Hotel is v close to the SECC. A lot lower price than some others.

Cons:

There wasn't any thing i didnt like. You get what you pay for. It is very basic but does the job of you want a prettier room you have to pay for it.
