Karon Village Hotel

Et hotel som har det det skal uden at være prangende, hyggelig pool, men støj fra hovedvejen hvis man vælger bungalow
Altid frisk vand fra personale, morgenmad er simpel, skal spørge om bacon og ost står ikke fremme .
Må påregne en del gå ture, det ligger langt fra indkøb og restaurant

Hôtel très agréable, propre et familiale et calme.
J'ai mis 5 étoile pour tout en tenant compte du prix payé. Si vous souhaitez un hôtel de ouf, de dingue, le genre d'hôtel qui ne m'attire pas, alors allez juste en face au Pullman :)

Greit hotel med fint basseng. Beliggenheten er litt langt unna stranden men enkelt å gå / ta taxi.
Hyggelige ansatte i ett rolig området for deg som liker å slappe av.
Bodde en firfisle på rommet vårt under oppholdet men det gjorde oss ingenting.

Väldigt hård säng och smutsig badrum, mycket sliten rum !
Frukosten var heller ingen vidare !

Transport 30 min late and not answering when I mail them.. charging first 1300 bath later 1000 bath for airport transport WiFi is not acceptable so bad WiFi can’t stay because need work in computer and not possible in this place

Man kann ein paar Nächte in diesem Hotel verbringen. Das Frühstück ist nicht sehr abwechslungsreich. Das Positive ist, dass der Pool über einen Whirlpool verfügt. Allerdings liegt das Hotel an einer stark befahrenen Autobahn. Daher ist es sehr schwierig, auf die gegenüberliegende Straßenseite zu gelangen. Der Strand ist 20 bis 25 Minuten zu Fuß entfernt.

Mycket trevligt och prisvärt hotell

Simple hotel in Karon. You really get what you pay for. If you are looking for a simple place to sleep then its a good place. If you looking for something special - pick different hotel.
Our stay was OK because most of the time we spent outside of the hotel.
Water pressure in the shower is excellent, no issues with hot water. A/C is OK but a bit noisy. Beds not the most comfortable but again OK.

Nice and clean hotel, deserves more than 2 stars in my opinion.

The staff is super friendly and helpful, very attentive. We had issues with our AC which they fixed in just a couple of minutes.
Cleaning is also very good, our room was cleaned everyday. The balcony was large and facing the lovely pool area, a great place to hang out.

The offer taxi service which is quick, cheap and safe.

The hotel location is good, just a short walk to the beach or “shopping” street. There is also a supermarket on the premises. There is a massage place, fruit stand and a shop right next to the hotel as well.

Pool area is great, 2 pools, a lot of sun beds, and good location, there is also a bar where you can buy food, drinks and snacks. Basically everything you need a day by the pool.
The pool area and hotel is surrounded by flowers in many colors and palm trees , I really appreciated the flowers.

There is a bigger traffic road right outside the hotel, but you can’t tell from the hotel. It’s very quiet which is really good.

Just make sure to use your common sense and eyes before you cross, but you need to do this everywhere in Thailand and worldwide before crossing a street, so no fuss there.

I honestly have nothing to complain about, it’s over all a really good hotel especially for having only 2 stars.

Clean and very well presented OK budget place. Nice and very apccomodating staff, always want to make sure your Ok, small pool and place, but very suited for couples and not so many children. Breakfast just like all hotels in Thailand, after three or four days you've satisfied and not so much changes, but that is how it is. The shop next to the hotell is very nice and affordable compared to the shops at the beach (10 min walk), however Thailand is now getting into the too expensive place and the future is probably Burma (Myanmar) and Vietnam for western people (including Russia).

Hotell rooms smells teribble!!! I was literary vomiting at first night stay becouse of it. Then i travelled little to other places for some days. ( phi phi, khao sok ) Terible pink color in room, terible bathroom without shower cabin so after taking shower, the water is all over the bathroom on floor. Mirror not even once cleaned rest was ok.. I payed not so little becouse i ordered via ving.no and what most iritating? I had to pay 1400 baht extra for 2 weeks wi fi connection extra to have internet at all... when it stands that internet is free on site. But then is maybe ving.no fault of locating wrong informations. Breakfest was good - standard. Eggs, nuddles, fruits, bacon ( not always ) Personel helped me once when i losted my wallet at big buddah and that was a big pluss. She was kind and nice... Owner or whoever was it didnt look like a nice person. Sometimes when I get to take my things from reception (which by the way I also played for 700 baht) he looked us he was almost mad that he have to do it... Pool area nice but from the morning on every sunbed was hanging someone towel, while people were sitting and eating breakfast,so it was almost impossible to get one of them. People all day sitting by the pool... very much clor in the pool water so it burned when I got water in my eyes.

We ad to change the hotel, because the rooms were so mold!! Just terrible smell!
Rooms are really oldfashioned, from 80´s ;)
I spoke to other guests and it seems that the problem is in hotel rooms, not in bungalows.
The pool area is nice.
They sell "high speed internet", but it has been worst in Thailand ever.

Traffic in Patak road is really heavy- rooms are noisy and it is not that nice to walk that road to the beach. You cannot get straight to the beach, you have to walk about 500 m that Patak road and then turn to the beach. Be careful!

You get better hotel at this price

價格太貴，整體不值得....

Bed good but the pillow too thick. Quiet location which I appreciate. A short distance to Karon and Kata. Modest breakfast. Overall, I enjoy this hotel and I kept this as a base for many years. probably I will come back here again.

Breakfast was good, toast, eggs, coffee, tea and juice+water is always on the buffet.
They change between fried noodles and fried rice everyday.
Some days scrambled eggs and bacon too.
Fresh fruits are always served during breakfast!

The pool is clean an got a good couple hours of sun during the day.

The wi-fi how ever, sucks. Therefor I will give the hotel 4 out of five.
IF it would have been included in the price I would have though it were ok but since you have to pay extra for it, it should work.

Cinq jours passés dans cet hôtel dont trois avec notre fille malade. Nous avons donc beaucoup profité de la chambre et de la piscine puisque les sorties étaient limitées. Karon était accessible à 10 mn à pied, un petit magasin était collé à la sortie de l'hôtel, les petits déjeuners en terrasse étaient bien agréables... Bref, un séjour vraiment appréciable. De plus, le personnel a su répondre à toutes nos questions et a bien voulu nous servir certains repas en chambre pendant que notre fille était alitée.
