Pros:

Mooi kasteel, enorme kamer. Uitzicht op tuin/grasveld.

Cons:

Er was geen airco, terwijl het 36 graden was. De kamer was bloedheet.

Pros:

Onze kamer was heel ruim, veel groter dan op booking.com vermeld. Het gebouw is prachtig, zowel van buiten als van binnen heeft het echt de allure van het oude chateau. Er zijn veel autoparkeerplekken op het terrein en voor fietsen is er een prima stalling.

Cons:

Het pand wordt voor meerdere functies gebruikt. Er zijn 'gewone' hotelkamers. Andere kamers worden langdurig gebruikt voor (seizoen)arbeiders. Een deel is ingericht als kinderdagverblijf. Er is nauwelijks hotel-personeel. Het hotel heeft ook nauwelijks voorzieningen: een automaat voor frisdrank en een automaat voor eenvoudige maaltijden. Er is een sober, maar prima ontbijtbuffet. Het geheel functioneert goed en het is rustig, maar uit de omschrijving op booking.com blijkt het multifunctionele karakter niet.

In de omgeving zijn behalve de bistro (goed eten trouwens) van de tennisclub geen voorzieningen.

Niks

Cons:

Alles, maar het was snikheet, en we hadden een kamer op de tweede verdieping, en daar was het zo heet dat we er eigenlijk niet konden verblijven.
Buiten was een prachtig park met schaduwrijke bomen, maar ook daar was geen stoel of bank om te gaan zitten.

Loved the big old house but it was uncomfortably hot.

Ik werd ontvangen door vriendelijk personeel en de kamer as lekker ruim met een bad er in. Uitzicht van de kamer was goed. En het ontbijt was prima.

My room (14) smelled of gaz or similar, very uncomfortable.
The toilet's water flush mechanism didn't work and kept continuously making dripping noise without flushing.
Location is within view of next-door Tihange nuclear power station.

Erg Veel lawaai van de autowegen
Geen douche, alleen een goed bad
Prijs - kwaliteit verhouding niet goed, te duur
Ontbijt ook karig voor deze prijs
Personeel wel erg vriendelijk en behulpzaam, zet hem op om hier iets moois van te maken
