Não voltaria neste Hotel jamais.
Cons:

Reservei um tipo de Suite e quando cheguei no Hotel não estava disponível.
Tentaram nos colocar num péssimo quarto e eu não aceitei. Me levaram para
uma suite que não gostei e fiquei por falta de opção.

Localização e estrutura excelentes, mas custo-benefício fraco e serviço demorado.
Pros:

O que eu mais gostamos foi, sem dúvida, a localização: vista incrível, pertinho da praia e, na prática, a melhor de José Ignacio, inclusive melhor do que muitas opções em Punta del Este. A piscina é linda e super agradável. O staff é muito simpático (e vários falam português, o que ajuda bastante). E a estrutura de academia e spa é excelente, de altíssimo nível, facilmente uma das melhores que eu já vi em hotel.

Cons:

O que poderia ter sido melhor é principalmente a relação de custo-benefício, a acomodação em si. Os quartos são razoavelmente simples. Alguns pontos de manutenção são necessários no hotel, então a piscina tem algumas madeiras soltando e ao mesmo tempo o serviço acaba sendo muito demorado também. Por mais que o staff seja simpático, pedir algo no restaurante demora demais. Acaba que tudo acaba sendo desproporcionalmente caro para o que de fato se entrega. Então se o hotel custasse um terço do valor, talvez isso não incomodasse tanto, mas é muito caro frente ao que oferece.

Great and pleasant for a good rest!!
Pros:

Breakfast is fair; could have more options à la carte and the service could be faster!! The buffet was poor, in my view!

Cons:

It's weird that the rooms don't have a TV. I was able to get one because the staff was gentle enough to look for it (and they found one). Specifically, when the weather is bad (it was the case in one day), there is little option for entertainment in the hotel.

Also, there is no indoor pool and the 4 pools the hotel has are outdoors and not climatized!

Great setting, great yoga, poor service
Pros:

This was a disappointing stay for the price point. The positives: the staff is very friendly, the art is amusing, the yoga and gym amenities were great, and the resort overall is truly beautiful. However, the basics like service are an afterthought and poor. There is no beach service. They will set up very uncomfortable “chairs” and an umbrella for you and that’s it. Allegedly there is pool service but at no point did anyone ask us if we wanted anything and if we got someone’s attention and did order something, it never came. Service was also very slow overall. Also, we filled out an initial survey about a week before our stay and we’re not sure what the point of it was. It was never followed up on. Lastly, they made a point when checking into our room to tell us that while it appears the shower will get water everywhere (there is no enclosure), it won’t. That is false. Water will get everywhere on the bathroom floor. This was our first time in Jose Ignacio, and we can’t say if another resort or hotel would be better, but this was our experience.

My husband and I had an absolutely wonderful experience at Bahia Vik. From the moment we arrived, we were struck by the beauty of the property and the warm, welcoming atmosphere. Our room was spacious, comfortable, and beautifully designed, with every detail thoughtfully considered.

The food was exceptional—fresh, flavorful, and artfully presented—and the service throughout our stay was top-notch. A special thank-you to Lucia, the property manager, whose genuine hospitality and gracious attention to every guest made us feel truly cared for. The entire team reflected her positive spirit and professionalism.

We left Bahia Vik feeling relaxed, inspired, and already planning our next visit. Highly recommended for anyone seeking luxury, comfort, and authentic Uruguayan warmth in José Ignacio.

One of a kind experience to enjoy a great hotel in the beautiful town of Jose Ignacio.
Pros:

Bahia Vik is a really beautiful and luxurious experience.
The place located right at the beach with gorgeous views of the village of Jose Ignacio and sand dunes. At this time of the year is perfect to enjoy the views while reading, walking thru the beach and all along the cost filled with amazing size rocks. You can also go bicycle riding all around and discover the gorgeous town of Jose Ignacio. Buffet breakfast in Bahia Vik is a really tasty experience of fresh fruits, juices, delicious pastries, sandwiches, croissants, great coffee and tea selection.
For those keen on exercise and movement Bahia Vik offers yoga, pilates and strength gym, a complete experience not to be missed!
