Please note there is a limit of 4 rooms maximum available to book for 1 night reservations per guest.

Christmas/New Years rooms must be prepaid on November 15th or at the time of booking. Easter rooms must be paid 30 days in advance or at time of booking.

Please note that this 25m² room has one queen size bed, private bathroom with solar heated water, ceiling fan, air conditioning, mini refrigerator, microwave, toaster, coffee maker, sink and the basic dishware.Guests are required to show a photo ID and credit card upon check-in. Please note that all Special Requests are subject to availability and additional charges may apply.

I had a pleasant stay at Hotel Verde Mar, especially thanks to its fantastic location right on the beach with direct beach access. It was lovely to be able to step straight onto the beach, and the location was definitely one of the highlights of my stay.

The room was clean, basic, and quite comfortable, although I was surprised that there was no hairdryer provided. The safety box was an old metal box that needed to be locked separately, and it didn’t look particularly clean, so I decided not to use it.

Unfortunately, on my last evening there was heavy rain and the roof started leaking. I reported it to reception, and I hope the issue has since been taken care of.

Overall, the hotel is a pleasant and simple place to stay, and the beachfront location is hard to beat.

El acceso a la playa directo, que tiene piscina y que se tardan 10 minutos andando hasta el parque nacional Manuel Antonio. Cuenta con aire acondicionado.

Cons:

Habitación sin ventilación, con muchísima humedad, llena de moscas y cangrejos, iluminación escasa y sin lámpara de noche, habitación muy estrecha y pequeña. No hay manera de ventilar , por lo que la habitación huele desagradable.

The charm of this place is the laid back environment right on Espadilla Beach.
Pros:

Hands down the best thing this hotel has to offer is that it's right on Espadilla beach, which is quite a popular beach and for good reason. It felt very liberating to be able to access the beach so conveniently whenever I felt like soaking in the sun or walking along the stretch if I felt like sipping on a coconut.

What I liked about my room is that it was decently spacious with a fridge, sink, and barstool area. The AC is also powerful, which is important for the tropical humid weather in Manuel Antonio. As a guest here you'll very much be able to make yourself at home. The staff is also quite helpful if you have any questions about things to do around the area.

Cons:

This place is not super well maintained. A few of my light switches didn't work, the shower is weak and it's hard to control the water temperature. There was also a slight sewage smell I noticed a few times after using the shower.

The walk from the check-in kiosk to your room can be quite slippery from either rain or the pool, so it's important to take steps with precautions.

The front desk does not operate 24/7, so you need to make sure you do not lock yourself out past 10pm!
