Baan Dok Mai

I stayed at the Baan Dok Mai a few years ago and thought it was very good to excellent. But I must say it has gone a little downhill. Its location couldn't be more handy but the rooms are showing their age. The photo of a superior room showed reading lamps on either side of the bed but they were gone. The safe was a bit problematic at times. The TV choices were very good and most things worked well. A spoon would have been better than the fork provided with the coffee making facililies. But saying all this, it remains good value for the cost. Do bring earplugs as the entire neighborhood is very noisy, but no problem if you stay up to 4 AM. What seems to be missing is a hands-on manager on site at least for some of the day. Reception is not staffed regularly which is understandable for a small guesthouse, but it shows... Will I stay there again? Honestly, I am undecided but I won't say never. Maybe. I do wish to see it return to its more glorious past.

Stayed for over a week. It is conveniently located to Walking Street, the Beach Road, and transports to Jomtein Beach. The room was spacious and generally quiet and comfortable.

ホテル紹介の写真を見ると誤解が生じる。角から2件目の屋台の奥がホテル。クリスというおとなしい、感じの良い人が一人でマネージメントしているらしいので、チェックインの時間に制約がある。チェックアウトの時は朝が早かったのでクリスはおらず、カギを置いて出た。とにかく安いので部屋はあんなもんでしょう。シャワールームがもう少しきれいだったらなと思う。夜中3時ごろや早朝から通りで大きな声で話す人たちがいて目が覚めてしまった。値段から言って、安く泊めてもらってありがたかった。

Очень грязно, поды там не моют вообще. Расположение нормальное, большая комната, вай фай не работает!! Фильм точно не посмотришь

WSに行くにしてもLKに行くにしても便利な場所。
周りに屋台、市場、喫茶店、レストラン、ローカルな食事場所、マッサージなどが多くあり
生活するにしてもとても便利な場所。
近くに大きな駐車場があるが、12時間を超えるととても高くなる。
気さくな感じの良い主人。カーテンを開放しても視線を気にしなくても良く、夜は意外と静かであった。

So so for the cost. Bath room has lots of mold and wall crumbling. Bath floor floods and doesnt drain. Sofa stained and dirty. It's just so so.

일단 해변과 워킹스트리트가 가깝고
파타야의 반대편으로 가기위한 노선 성태우를 조금만 걸어가면 탈 수 있었습니다~!

또한 많은 저렴한 마사지 샵이 있는 Soi Buakhao 거리가 아주 가깝습니다~

숙소 건너편에 Tuk Com Pattaya가 있고 지하에 supermarket이 있습니다.

아쉬운 점은 Standard room 의 경우 햇볕이 안들었습니다~
방은 깔끔하여 괜찮았지만 화장실은 깔끔하지 않았습니다.

시장이 가까이 있지만 생각보다 시장이 저렴하지 않았습니다.

딱 가격 만큼의 숙소라고 생각됩니다~!

가장 중요한~! 사장님은 호수분이시고~ 아주 친절하십니다~!

제가 ...... 아침 9시 30분에 체크인을 했습니다~ ^^

Great budget hotel close to everything, very friendlyb owner , WiFi, safe, great for the budget conscious.

Это не отель, конечно, room for rent, всего семь номеров, но за такую цену вполне прилично. С виду непрезентабельно, но номер оказался довольно уютный и удобный. Две бутылки воды каждый день, два полотенца каждый день, кофе, сахар, сливки, чайник, сейф в номере, приличная мебель, удобная кровать, гель для душа и шампунь. Вобщем все необходимое, для такого варианта размещения и за такую цену вполне себе хорошо. Расположение очень удобное, в двух шагах от Тук Кома. Рядом много дешевой местной еды, опять же Топ Маркет в Тук Коме. Все в пешей доступности. Звукоизоляция хорошая, шума с улицы не слышно. Вобщем на несколько дней, чтобы погулять и пошопиться самое то. Не для семей с детьми! Из недостатков - пыльно, уборка номера хоть и ежедневно, но чисто символическая. Сказала об этом хозяину - обещал исправить. :)

Hotel looks old from outside but well kept in case of cleanliness . Rooms are big like 5 star hotels with good furniture, wardrobe. No elivator being only 3 floors but worth and value for money. Mr. Chris at reception and owner of hotel personally looks into the hotel upkeep and guest relations. Nice person to interact and very helpful.

딱 가격만큼 제공하는것 같다. 숙소에 별로 신경안쓰시는 분이면 가능할듯.

The boss man is great, he gave me a king size bed and corner room suite for around 500 baht. The building is older. The bathroom had good quality toiletries and free water. Would definitely stay here again.

Baan Dok Mai is a good hotel with low nightly rates in comparison to other hotels nearby in Pattaya. The bed is clean, big closet and the room is comfortably big. It's also across the street from Tukcom shopping center with food, shopping, and Pattaya's biggest electronic shops filled with numerous booths. Good place to buy a local sim card, bargain mobile phones, and other electronic items. It's also a block away from local baht buses and public transportation. The hotel laundry service is half the price of other hotels. The drawbacks are that it doesn't have a 24 hour reception desk. It closes at 7PM nightly. One night I left my hotel keys in the room and locked myself out and I didn't realize it until well into the late night. Good thing I had the mobile phone number of the owner and he came down to open the gate for me. Also, there's no elevators and my room was on the third floor. The restaurant is located on the ground floor and it drew in many mosquitos into the hotel, and the cleaning crew always leave my hotel room door open while she cleans and every night I had to fight off numerous mosquitos. Unfortunately, I react extremely negatively with mosquitos bites. The white towels are clean but it's now grey. The shower and bathroom is only marginally clean. There's not enough counter space on the sink to even put my toothbrush and toothpaste. Other than that, it's relatively cheap to stay here.
