Nos tocó un día festivo y no hubo nada alusivo a este en el hotel, aunque prácticamente estamos en el centro siempre se espera algo relacionado al momento, todo lo demás excelente

Aunque la construcción es muy bonita y tiene una excelente ubicación, hay muchos detalles que bajan mucho la calidad de la experiencia.
La habitación tiene un olor a desodorante barato, en el lavabo no hay donde colocar la toalla. La parte de la regadera no tienen más que ventilación que da a la misma habitación, y la instalación es vieja con cortinas en la regadera en vez de cancel. Además el papel de baño está colocado a las espaldas de uno. Los canales en la televisión se ven muy mal.
Ya me había hospedado hace varios años, y el lugar ha decaído mucho. Por ejemplo, antes el restaurante tenía platillos bien preparados con toques gourmet, y ahora dejan mucho qué desear.

Muy buena locación en Peña de Bernal
Pros:

Me siento agradecido porque me equivoqué con mi reservación y me honraron mi pago, solo que no había la misma habitación así que me dieron un upgrade y pagué la diferencia con gusto. Desafortunadamente la tina con hidromasaje (parte del upgrade a habitación premium ) no tenía agua caliente , la regadera no tenía agua caliente solo tibia.

Bien, pero un poco incómodo para el descanso
Pros:

El lugar es bonito, pero el colchon es viejo, no permite buen descanso, renté una suite y el colchon estaba de bajada. Hay room service, pero es incomodo porque tienes que ir directo a la recepción o al restaurante, no hay tel o donde escribir para perir algo, no es amable si vas con bebés.

Enjoyed our stay at Casa Mateo. Rooms were clean, staff was attentive, in a very walkable location, and staff was more than happy to arrange any transportation we needed. I would stay here again.
