Great place in Asakusa that is close to public transit.
Pros:

Really close to stations and adjacent to a street with lots of restaurant stalls! Great to experience night life then walk back to hotel.

Cons:

Room was a little small for 2 people, but if you keep your stuff organized it’s doable!

Pros:

Location was amazing. Late night udon was amazing! Free ice cream at night was nice too. They held my bags for a few days as I shipped them ahead of me.

Cons:

Only 1 elevator and unable to use stairs to do anything except go to 1st and 2nd floors (reception desk on 2nd floor), so often had to wait for the elevator. Property was old and showed signs of age, but was clean. Rooms were small.

Pros:

Good location, near Ueno & Keisei Ueno stations (perfect for Skyliner train to/from Narita airport). Very close to shopping/street foods area. Breakfast was ok. Staff was great & helpful. Onsen is nice, there’s also a free noodles from 9:30-11pm. Self check in/out.

Cons:

It’s a smaller hotel and it has Only one slow elevator. Front desk is on 2nd floor. It blocks outside noise well but you can hear other room doors slamming.

Pros:

The hotel facilities were wonderful. The staff were very thoughtful, providing great attention to detail with various small services and complimentary treats.

Cons:

On the downside, there is only one elevator serving the entire hotel, which made getting up and down quite a hassle.

Pros:

I loved location. Perfect for traveling around Tokio and huge market with lots of good food next to it.

Staff was very helpful and kind. They helped us with transfer of baggages to next hotel and were patient and smiled a lot.

Breakfast was excellent, a lot to choose from and you could eat fairly balanced food there.

Cons:

There is only one elevated and ryokan on the top is more of a curse for me who do not see benefit of that, because people travel up and down all the time and getting down from 8 floor takes like 5 minutes of waiting.

Pros:

The onsen was great. The location suited us really well. Hotel approach to sustainability (products not in room but in Reception) is good. Staff are friendly. Thoughtful touches and attention to detail in the room and hotel. Luggage storage available. Free wi-fi.

Cons:

The room was small but we made it work.
