Shwe Poe Eain Hotel

The staff could not care less of its customers. I had booked a room with pool view, however at check in I was given a room with no windows and reception/management made no efforts to try and change it. I tried to contact management and they replied the room I was given was fine ( please note the only opening was towards the corridor). They did not even tried to apologise.
Already the fact that they have rooms with no windows is an alarm bell (however these are not advertised).
Staff was quite rude and unhelpful throughout our stay. They wouldn’t even help us book the bus for our next destination and we had to go ask the hotel next door!

Breakfast is ok but rather cheap with limited selection.

It is located opposite of the famous hostel Ostello Bello Pool Bagan. There were many e-bike rentals and mini markets nearby.

Breakfast was okay, not many choices for vegetarian but I had enough. Thank you for your hospitality! Loved it.

The room was big and clean. The staff were very helpful. The price was very affordable.

Habitación amplia y bien decorada. La pileta es linda (aunque no la usamos). El desayuno es correcto, los empleados son serviciales y hablan inglés. Nos ayudaron a comprar pasajes de micro sin ningún cargo adicional. Podés alquilar motos eléctricas en el hotel al mismo valor que en la calle. Buena ubicación, una casa de cambio a 1 cuadra, un minimercado a una cuadra y varios restaurants para comer. Recomendamos Bagan Kitchen, saliendo del hotel a la izquierda 2 cuadras.

Hotel całkiem niezły z basenem, ale bardzo głośne odgłosy klimatyzatorów, oraz piszczenie w rurarach nie dawały spać po nocy.

Upon check-in, I was greeted in a hostile manner. I arrived at 20:30, due to a flight delay ( which is really not that late).

The room I stayed in was very dirty. Hair and dirt were on the toilet seat and the shower was brown and dirty. The sheets looked dirty and heavily stained. I had to call to the front desk twice for it to be clean. Later on, I found roaches in the room and a cobweb the size of an A3 sheet of paper. After demanding to speak with a manager, my room was changed, but the place is still not that comfortable.

The breakfast was just OK. It was a mix of western and local dishes. The pool area is not what appears in the picture.

The staff ( besides my initial check-in were friendly, but they don’t make up for the negative impression I had of the hotel).

뉴바간 메인도로에 위치하고 있어서 굉장히 편리했습니다. 주변에 식당 및 바이크 렌탈샵 작은 편의점 등이 있고요. 특히 호텔 바로 맞은편 바이크샵은 홀데이 4천짯에 바이크 빌릴수있어서 늘 이곳에서 빌렸어요. 매우 친절.

Hot water in the shower working perfectly.

The breakfast was very good with a wide variety of options.
Free water, tea and coffee provided in the room daily.
The pool looks nice but the water was rather cold so we didn’t swim in it.
We rented the e-bikes from the hotel even though they are 1000 Kyat more than the rental shop next door. The bikes never gave up on us. They were very good.
Close to restaurants.

Our room was on the last foor where some pigeons have their nest in the roof. We usually don’t complain about the noise and especially when it comes from the nature, because we love animals, but this was a little bit too much. Something can be put to block them entering the roof, at least on that side.

We had a good time in this hotel, well located, fair price.

The staff is very helpful and welcoming! We arrived early with a night bus and they managedon't to check us in! The hotel is in a good location and they're breakfast is very good! It.made our stay in Bagan better!

Good location, friendly people, good breakfast, nice clean room. We really enjoyed our stay at Schwe Poe Eain.

Die gastgeber waren sehr lieb und behilflich bei allen belangen.
Grundsätzlich war es auch sauber ausser echt einigen spinnweben im zimmer und im bad!!!

I like to stay in small guesthouse. This is not one. It is big with very little charm. The location is decent and the staff is nice. There are good restaurants nearby. The bikes cost a little more here but are really good and dependable. Decent breakfast.
