Close to airport
Pros:

We stayed here for its proximity to East Rand Mall for some shopping and O R Tambo as we were going on a flight.
The approach to the airport was right over the hotel/room but the windows were well insulated so it was not heard.

It was cold outside, 30 cm of snow had been promised in some weather forecasts but the snow did not come and the room was warm despite the cold outside.

The breakfast was good.

Can recommend Little Neros which is nearby, a restaurant suitable for families.

Convenient and reliable shuttle service, decent breakfast, comfortable beds.
Friendly staff

Cons:

Receptionist at check in fully ignored our request to link this booking to our IHG account.
As an IHG hotel chain, members can receive extended check out etc, all it took was to look up our email address.

1 towel provided was dirty. Not good.
Dated bathrooms, but everything functional.

Loud all around. From airplanes to guests coming and going around the clock- an airport hotel, I guess.

Ok stay
Pros:

The free shuttle to the airport was great. We had 2 queen size beds which were comfortable.
Planes fly directly overhead but we didn’t really hear that until about 7.30am snd it was quite muffled.

Cons:

The property needs some TLC it’s a little bit tired. There wasn’t a lot of sound proofing in the room from the corridor.
Breakfast was ok but we’ve had better choice before.
The location was ok but reading the warning note in the room was unsettling and we didn’t leave the hotel.

Pros:

Everything was great, as usual, not my first time here. Good breakfast. Great shots for plane spotters.

Cons:

The shower head is hideous. It needs to be replaced, or better yet, a European shower head with a hose.
The vending machine has a limited selection and doesn't accept card payments. Cash only.

Pros:

The bath top was dirty the pillow cases the floor needed vaccuming i just did not hsve time to complain the service was excellent and location it just need the person to check rooms after cleaning but is very safe and they organize a trust worty transportation

cozy and effecient
Pros:

I liked the atmosphere at dinner time. The beds were well made and the pillows were just perfect.

Cons:

The shower was nice and warm. However I think the bathroom tiles could use a renovation.

Homely, warm in the bitterly wet /cold weather with the warm vegetable soup,meals/earters & STAFF

Arrival was super good with prompt welocome and registration quick and comforting and even the challenge of number of day querie was sorten within senconds with the web AAP.The room was super brilliant clean, warm and efficient bathroom and space with critical furnature thank you.
The breakfast was more than than value paid with variety to choose and with all honesty it was delicious too with by soul out staff s support from welcome at the door to ongoing check ups and additional support.Well done

If the bathroom shower gels,hair shumpo plenty from basi, bath and shawer,BUT body lotion in the shawer kepall three emty tho little that does not squees out creating a challenge as one could not move containers....from one station to another.maybe additional towel incase needed and the floor towel to elaminate wet floors.
I went to the GYM room with no assistance and therefore never explore some equipments out of fear .......there need to be someone to motivate and orientate t to minimise unnessesary risks and exccidents???? and for those who do not know some of equipments which are so soper good and super good condition and standards thank you....
