Overall it was nice …we were there with other friends for a conference
Pros:

The main area where reception is is lovely and updated …need a better lounge area. The rooms were big and the bathrooms were lovely with great amenities and toiletries ..bed was comfy ….breakfast included was decent with lots of choice and was a great walkable location. Had a beautiful roof top terrace but we didn’t get to because of the rain while we were there

Cons:

Staff …many of them were very rude and dismissive. The old building we were in had continuous water coming in during the rain storm and the hallways felt like an institution.

Fantastic stay, great experience.
Pros:

- The location is a prime location near everything
- checking in was seamless
- we had a vehicle and we used their valet and garage service - it is a bit expensive but we knew before and it was our decision to take it as we only spent one night and we wanted to be near the main attractions in central Firenze.
- Breakfast really good.

Cons:

Room was a bit small and not much for space - we did not need much but if we had to spend more days it might have been difficult to put everything in wardrobe.

Great location, beautiful hotel
Pros:

Location was great, very clean and updated facilities, large bathroom and ceilings. Terrace was small but nice! Breakfast was delicious!

La vue ne fait pas tout

Sa localisation, la taille de la chambre, la taille du balcon, terrasse. La salle de bain était immense.

Tout le reste a malheureusement été très décevant, surtout compte tenu du prix de la chambre et du niveau de service que l’on est en droit d’attendre d’un établissement de cette catégorie.

Dès notre arrivée, l’accueil a été particulièrement impersonnel et peu attentif. Aucune information ne nous a été donnée sur le fonctionnement de l’hôtel : pas de code Wi-Fi, aucune mention de la piscine, aucune information sur les services disponibles, les environs ou même les moyens de contacter la réception. Dans la chambre, aucun document, aucun QR code, rien permettant de comprendre les services proposés par l’établissement.

Le lendemain matin, nous avons dû partir assez urgemment vers 7 h 30, avec l’intention de revenir éventuellement prendre le petit déjeuner. Malgré l’urgence évidente de notre situation, notamment pour déposer rapidement nos bagages avant un rendez-vous, la personne à la réception a fait preuve d’une nonchalance assez incompréhensible. Il ne s’agissait pas de demander un traitement particulier, simplement un minimum d’écoute et de réactivité pour accélérer une procédure extrêmement simple.

Cette absence de sens du service s’est malheureusement retrouvée tout au long du séjour. Mon amie étant blessée et ayant des difficultés à se déplacer, nous aurions pu espérer un minimum d’attention ou quelques initiatives pour lui faciliter les choses. Rien ne nous a été proposé.

Le soir, nous sommes arrivées vers 22 h 40 et avons demandé s’il était encore possible de manger ou de boire quelque chose. Bien que nous soyons encore dans les heures d’ouverture annoncées, aucune solution ne nous a été proposée. Pas de possibilité de commander, pas même une proposition d’appeler un restaurant pour nous aider. À Florence, où les possibilités de livraison sont limitées tard le soir et où de nombreux restaurants ferment vers 23 h ou minuit, cela peut rapidement devenir problématique.

Loved the room, especially the fresco on the ceiling! Breakfast was yummy as well and the location couldn't be beat! Also, the concierge recommended 4 great restaurants for our evenings in Firenze. Each meal was better than the prior one.

Cons:

I wish that the pillows had been softer; feather pillows would have been preferable.
