K so. I rarely leave negative reviews, but this experience was so BAD that I feel obligated to warn future travelers. I booked a room at Darlington Raceway Inn through Booking.com for approximately $80 after several hours of driving and simply needing a place to rest for the night. The listing’s overall rating appeared acceptable, and admittedly, I did not take the time to thoroughly read the reviews beforehand. That was a mistake. The first indication that something was seriously wrong appeared before I even reached the room. The photographs advertised online bear little resemblance to the actual property. The hallways shown in the listing appear polished and modern, while the reality is quite the opposite. The carpeting throughout the building was heavily soiled, visibly stained, and covered in dirt. There were flies present throughout the hallways, and even the carpet pattern itself did not match what was shown in the promotional photographs. The entire property felt misrepresented from the moment I entered. Upon entering the first room, the condition deteriorated even further. The flooring was so sticky that my shoes literally adhered to it with every step, as if a large quantity of soda had been spilled and never properly cleaned. The mirror was covered in such a GROSS film of grime and residue that it barely functioned as a mirror at all. As someone who always inspects the bedding first, I immediately pulled back the visibly stained comforter and discovered dirt particles collected on the sheets, along with numerous short hairs scattered across the sheets (pubes). It was obvious that the bedding had not been properly cleaned or inspected between guests. The lack of cleanliness extended throughout the room. The lampshades were coated in layers of dust and grime to the point that the fabric had begun discoloring. The curtains were stiff, heavily stained, and appeared as though they had not been washed in years. Every surface seemed neglected.

Beds were filthy, felt like I was either going to witness a drug deal or 2 drunk ladies fighting!

The bathroom was very dirty it had dry poop around the toilet the tub wasn’t cleaned and the house keeper was rude

It was dirty ..sheets shower don't look like they cleaned the room ..the sheets had holes in it
