Wonderful Romantic Getaway!

Everything! The staff were friendly and helpful. The room was great and it was very quiet.

Cons:

Be great if the check in time was earlier, however, glad there was the option to check in early.

We had a wonderful time, soaked lots when not hiking to see waterfalls.
Pros:

Clean, newly remodeled rooms. We appreciate the cold pool in with the thermal mineral bath for maximal healing. We also enjoyed sitting by the fire pit.

Cons:

The place would be ideal
If there was a microwave in the room. My mate and I both have food sensitivities and prefer to bring our own, but could not bring a dinner to warm up. We were told we could use the microwave in the lobby , but to walk outside and uphill in the cold with food was not appealing.

The location is gorgeous surrounded by the trees.

Cons:

We arrived a little early and asked if we could check in. The front counter lady was polite and said house keeping was still working so that was no big deal we were early. We went up the hill and golfed 9 rounds (gorgeous golf course). My problem started when we arrived back around 5:00 PM past check in time. The whole lobby was full or people waiting to check in. Two gentlemen were waiting to have their room keys reactivated since they couldn't access their room. When I got to the counter the lady (different from earlier) was short tempered and rude. She informed me our room still wasn't clean and house keeping was ignoring them. She told me to go to dinner and come back. I mentioned we were already told to come back and she got huffy and handed me my room keys, asked for payment even though my room was prepaid for last week. Then she got rude when she said she needed my card for the deposit when I said it was paid for. She told me the incident deposit was $100.00 and I was charged $250.00. She told me she wrote down our room number and will call when it was cleaned. (She also didn't verify my phone number just snapped at me it was on my profile when I asked if she needed it.) We never got a call at all to say our room was cleaned. We went to dinner and came back around 8 PM and just tried our keys and the room was cleaned. She was unprofessional and rude. Was the worst experience I have ever had. The fact that our room wasn't cleaned when we should have been able to check in past 4 and we never were informed really made me upset. Then too we had a hot tub balcony room with only one towel. We had to find a housekeeper and she nicely got us towels.
