My family of 4 just stayed in the large room upstairs with three beds. We loved our large room and everything about this hotel. It is such a beautiful, historic, and comfortable property. The location can’t be beat. The staff was so helpful and pleasant. The continental breakfast was simple but delicious. And Tapalpa is such a cool place.
Location is great, the room was big, It is a beautiful old mansion.
The staff was clearly unaccustomed to guests who spoke Spanish imperfectly, to the point we didn't get breakfast until our final morning because no one bothered to tell us it was available and paid for (even while we do speak passable Spanish). We were locked out of the hotel our first evening there because we arrived back after 11PM. We banged on the door for 15 minutes until we woke someone to let us in. No apology. Made to feel it was somehow our fault.
This is a superb old mansion, full of beautiful antique furniture, but with all mod cons. and very comfortable, big beds. There was a log fire provided, which we did not use as the weather was mild. There were views of the mountains from one side of the house, and from the other, the streets of little whitewashed houses with their red-tiled roofs (Tapalpa is a "pueblo magico.") All the staff were kind and helpful. Parking in the street outside the hotel was easy. A delicious breakfast was provided, including fresh fruit, cheese, good bread and honey.
I did not like the hair blower did not work I asked for replacement no answer.

Es un alojamiento extraordinario. Hermosa casona con muchos toques que la hacen especial, ubicación inmejorable y la atención del personal súper profesional y servicial.
Las camas extra cómodas, dormimos como hace mucho no lo hacíamos.
La recepcionista, el velador, cocineras, meseros, todo extraordinarios.
La chimenea, el agua de la regadera con mucha presión y calientita.
10 de 10. Volveremos sin dudar.
Debería haber a parte de la chimenea otro sistema de calefacción
