Royal Mamberamo Hotel

I missed a window. The room was ok, had a fridge but not working... Airco and bathroom were good, although small bottle of toiletries.


I had hooped for breakfast some more European food, such as yoghurt or chocolate creme.

Prima verblijf gehad. Doordat er een bijeenkomst van een bedrijf was, kon ik s'avonds niet in het restaurant eten (zie mijn vorige review: het eten is prima). Gezien ik geen zin had te eten op mijn kamer (roomservice was wel mogelijk), ben ik in de buurt was wezen eten.

Prima hotel voor overnachting tussen aankomst Sorong en trip naar Raja Ampat. En ik kon s' ochtends al gelijk inchecken na vroege aankomst. Tevens heb ik een gedeelte van mijn bagage hier opgeslagen toen ik naar Raja Ampat was. Personeel ( net als in vele andere hotel in Indonesie) zeer vriendelijk en behulpzaam.

Good indo style breakfast. Quiet enough, didn't hear street or other guests. Place shows wear and tear. Not a 700k rp value but. Staff are very nice and helpful and speak English.

Good buffet breakfast provided; room had no windows which makes it claustrophobic and gloomy; various food shops, a bank, local restaurants nearby; no tourist sites nearby; acceptable for 1 overnight stay to connect with liveaboard trip

One night ... great for a night

A comfy room that is good enough for a night on the way in or out of Raja Ampat. Wish the room has a window though. Buffet breakfast was ok, though not very tasty.

It was a relaxing stay. They need better service in the restaurant. We ordered breakfast early one morning as we were leaving very early. Nothing was prepared and we end up leaving without breakfast. It happened few times.

We prepaid one night to easily transition from the Waisai - Sorong ferry to tomorrow's SOQ flight. It met all our Western expectations with a quiet 3rd floor double with 2 narrow windows. Well equipped with comfortable bed, modern bathroom with toiletries, coffee maker, buffet breakfast with cooked eggs, ATM on premises, even Xmas decorations. Crossed street to small modern convenience store. The general area is not very walk-able.

Overnight stay on return from a liveaboard in Raja Ampat. Good for 1 night but room I had did not have any windows. Clean and comfortable though and the restaurant served nice food. Also a mini market over the street. Taxi expensive to the airport for such a short journey. Not much around the neighbourhood other than some warungs.

Wir würden jederzeit wieder hier übernachten.

It was a good comfortable stay

It was a great stay and the staff were very friendly and helpful.It is a good value for money considering the high prices of nearly everything in Papua. To be recommended.
