We were in Ouray, so that was a what we liked.
The breakfast was actually very good, but would have gone elsewhere if it didn't come with our room at $45.
The room did have a nice shower.
Our room was in a back alley 2 blocks away from the pools, full of very loud construction equipment and workers, that started at 8 am both Saturday and Sunday. Apparently the alley is also where the hotel sends smokers, and wash their golf carts and makes a muddy mess. The room smelled absolutely horrible and was full of flies probably from the smell. The carpet looked and smelled like it was from the Tropicana in Vegas in the 70's. There had obviously been a wet stinky dog before us because there was dog hair all over the floor that hadn't been vacuumed along with cherry stems throughout the room. The second day we found 2 fingernails in our sheets and they weren't ours! Gross! Everyone was blasting their TV's to drown out the construction workers. The pools have been more clean in the past, everything is just going down hill at Twin Peaks. When we let them know our concerns, their only solution was "don't book through booking.com, we reserve the bad rooms for those websites" as if having bad rooms is even an option???? Who does this??? It's still your Hotel and the staff that is supposed to clean them is still your staff. Will definitely NEVER stay there again!

The layout of the facility is is very convenient, especially with the restaurant attached. We totally enjoyed the Hot Springs. Many to choose from including a cold plunge :-) And of course the setting in the mountain valley is idyllic. Great service, great value. Thank you!

We had a wonderful stay at this beautiful lodge, nestled in a picturesque setting surrounded by stunning natural scenery. The highlight was definitely the hot springs pools, which were perfect for relaxing, unwinding, and enjoying the peaceful atmosphere. The combination of beautiful views, soothing mineral waters, and a tranquil environment made the experience truly special. It’s an ideal place to escape the daily routine, recharge, and reconnect with nature. I would gladly return and highly recommend this lovely retreat to anyone looking for a relaxing getaway!
Food was marginal but it is everywhere in the touristy places
I like the atmosphere of the place. Their breakfast is superb too!
You can hear every noise from another room easily.
Beautiful location and facility, the breakfast and the hot springs pools
No hangers and no towel rods
The property was very convenient. We stayed across the street at the River View and the hot tub pools were very nice.
It started raining when we went in to the hot tubs. When it started raining, we went into the vapor caves afterwards, which was very good with relieving our stress.
The property sits at the south side of town near Box Canyon Falls. The mountain views were beautiful that surrounded us. Having the hot tubs near our hotel was easier to go in and enjoy ourselves in the 9 different little hot pools without having to go to the Ouray Hot Springs Pool with added crowds there.
The rooms were very nice and clean. We had 2 queen beds, but would have preferred a king bed, but none were available at the time. The only thing is is it was on the second floor and we had to tug our suitcases of the stairs and our coolers, which were quite heavy.
The continental breakfast or the complementary breakfast at the Mineshaft that came with it every morning was well stocked with scrambled eggs, sausage, bacon, potato, wedges, and gravy, grits, blueberry cobbler, or peach cobbler, all kinds of muffins, donuts, pastries, biscuits with jelly, fruits, and yogurt, cereals, coffee, milk, any kind of drinks you wanted. It was very well stocked, and the breakfast was outstanding and delicious.
We will definitely stay here again when we come back to Ouray Colorado.
The parking spaces were quite narrow and could’ve been a little bit wider. It was hard to fit our Dodge ram Pickup into the parking spaces. Our room was on the second floor, and we had to tug our suitcases and coolers up the stairs, there was no elevator. Otherwise, the property was very nice.

Washing machine didn’t ring out my clothes
The pool area and the hot tub area was beautiful, beautiful views of the surrounding mountains. The tiki lounge was an added bonus. The rooms were both very large and very clean. The breakfast was amazing! The location of the south end of town was perfect for the running race we were in town for.
We requested to switch rooms but that was not an option. The original room ended up working perfectly. We had to request a luggage rack. Other than that it was perfect.
