Pleasant stay. The staff were excellent, friendly, polite and helpful. Relaxed feeling to the accomodation, open fires.

Location and friendly reception staff.

Cons:

Room was freezing, the radiator didn’t work and had to put an oil fired radiator into the room to get some heat.
Found three pairs of men’s boxer shorts under the dressing table from a previous occupant.
Facilities tired, lack of hot water, no iron or
ironing board in the room although one was supplied on request.
Mould in the en-suite & a chunk of wood missing from door frame.
Stained pillow case which is unacceptable in my book.
Cleaning staff talking loudly in the corridor at 8:30am, not helpful after a long day & late night at a wedding, considering check out was not until midday!

Pros:

comfortable, hormis les escaliers que j'ai du mal à monter - et pas d'ascenseurs, mais le personnel était très aidant
