Beautiful property in a lovely quiet but well connected area of Dublin. Excellent staff, comfort, and food. I tried both the Irish breakfast and the steak sandwich at dinner. Good breakfast. Steak sandwich was mouth-wateringly good. Great value for money. Would readily stay here again.
Had to shower quickly or intermittently – the drain needed some unblocking.
This is a really nice hotel. The location is great, all the staff from reception, to bar and restaurant and the cleaning and maintenance staff are always helpful and friendly, it's always spotless, the showers are awesome, and the pillows and beds are very comfortable, and the price for a hotel like this, in this good a location relative to Dublin City Centre is very rare. It's charming, but not stuffy, the rooms are always warm and quiet, there is free parking right beside the hotel, this is also rare. It's an excellent hotel and they should be very proud of themselves.
I got nothin'
Smooth check-in/pleasant welcome. Nice residential area. Rooms above a busy pub/restaurant which was fine. Close to bus routes to airport and city centre.
Short bed in an alcove (single room) - I am "only" 1m87 and was not comfortable. Some linen and towels quite soiled. Loose electric socket - appeared a bit dangerous. Generally in need of a bit of a make-over.
Everything clean warm friendly. Amazing shower. Room 8.
Nothing. I can't fault it. Just what the doctor ordered
Good location between a lot of pubs and restaurants, easy to get into centre and less touristy.
Very loud noise from parties on both nights, PA directly below our room. Arrived late and just wanted to relax after a long journey. We were forced to go out it was that bad and went on half an hour after we’re told it would end.
The location is great. The bar and restaurant area is nice. The bedroom was a reasonable size. Nice old style rooms in reception area. Price was reasonable.
There was a smell of smoking in the room, possibly from the bar outside area below. Close the windows! The breakfast options were limited. The coffee was weak instant coffee. I don’t expect baristas but better quality filter coffee should be available. The breakfast itself was pretty standard fry. There are nice places within walking distance that provide a better breakfast at similar prices with barista coffee options. I would stay here again and go out for breakfast.
