Nothing really except am still awaiting 100 euro deposit paid for damages I can't understand how they can take it straight away and I have to wait 3 to 5 working days for it to appear in my bank
Very central
Can be noisey
Habitación amplia, instalaciones cómodas
El desayuno, que estaba incluido en el precio. Los productos frescos (tomate, fresas) estaban con moho: el queso congelado y tieso…
Went with my parents for 2 nights and the atmosphere around the hotel was a great buzz with birthdays and other parties. Breakfast lovely (had full Irish for €13.90) and the dinner there was lovely too!
Guinness is great there too!
Location is ideal to explore Kilkenny Castle and you can walk to the centre in about 5 mins
Rooms were grand and did the job!
Will definitely go back for big birthday celebrations in future.
We were very happy with the
Hotel
Great central hotel with an emphasis on comfort. Small things that make a difference -ample car parking, face cloths in the bathroom, Barrys tea in the room & real milk, an extensive and lovely selection at breakfast and warm rooms. Great value, great service, great location, we all said we will be back! A very enjoyable stay in a comfortable and homely hotel atmosphere all made it a lovely experience
Staff were wonderful. Had dinner and breakfast. Parking was very easy as they have their own car park. Check in was fast and efficient. Bar and restaurant staff were very friendly and courteous.
We had a great stay
Stayed here on Saturday night. Rooms are seriously over priced for what they are. €125 per person for 3 people sharing. But what really annoyed us was on the Sunday morning before we checked out, we went across the road for a takeaway coffee and when we arrive back with them the management had an issue with us drinking the coffee on the premises ….despite that fact that we had left well over €1000 between accommodation, drinks and food the night before. Meanwhile there was Apache pizza boxes left in hallways from the previous night, so couldn't see what the issue was a few takeaway coffees? Really bad form and we wont be back.
Spotlessly clean. Warm and the best shower Iv ever had anywhere. Water pressure is amazing. Central and walking distance to everywhere.
Nothing.
The staff were friendly and polite.
There was an issue with hot water for the shower although you could have a bath.
We bought the full Irish breakfast and it was overcooked and dried out.
