Gotum Hostel 2 at Thalang Road

Nous n’y avons passé que une seule nuit, mais la chambre est très bien placée, par contre hébergement sans ascenseur au dernier étage, escalier très étroit de 70 marches a monter avec les valises, un peu dangereux et fatiguant mais sinon tres bien

Maybe the most uncomfortable bed I've ever slept on, mattress felt like concrete and the pillows were also mostly flat. I understand that the room was cheap and "you get what you pay for", but the bed should be at least sleep-able regardless of price. Also there was another hotel in the area for half the price of this one, so it's not like I picked the cheapest hotel in the area.

One star off for that and another because the listing on Hotels.com inaccurately stated the room as 28 square meters, which is not even close to being true. The King Bed took up almost the entire width of the room and almost half the length, so really the room (including bathroom) is more like 3x5m = 15m2 if we're being generous, but most likely ~12m2. Accurate pictures of the room are included, so I could have been more careful, but I assumed that the first pictures of the overall property where the room I booked since that room actually looks large.

All that said, the location is right in the heart of Old Phuket town and other amenities like the Wifi, check-in, TV, hot water, were all totally fine.

Arrived late due to flight delay. The gate was locked. We were lucky there’s a storekeeper woke up to entertained us but he has no guest list of the day, further contacting his boss both of them couldn’t confirm my stay only to allow check in after nearly half an hour record checking.

一歩外に出ればオールドタウンなので、周辺雰囲気はいいです。ホテル自体は安かろう悪かろうです。ある意味値段相応ではあります。夜のアルバイトっぽい兄ちゃんは愛想なかったですが、ボスっぽい男の人はしっかりしてました

Hotel staff were amazing. They let us check in 2 hours before check in time. The gentlemen was always giving us directions around town when we asked. He was very helpful. We did not like Old Town. There was nothing to do and we always struggled to find a place to eat. Almost everything is closed by 6-7 pm. There’s about 2 restaurants and coffee shops open after 7pm and the wait time to get dinner was over 1 hour. Hotel was great but overall with location and old town I would not return. I heard they have a night market on Sundays and that’s awesome so if u want to book, I recommend you book on a Sunday.

You get what you pay for. Hot water on demand, cold a/c and good free wifi. Rock hard beds, no windows, dark and gloomy. Staff speaks almost no English except owner who is helpful when he's there. Loud group of kids showed up at 1 am shouting and fighting and rowdy for 2 hours, they were loud every night. Not exactly a family place, just know that you're paying for what your getting. Amazing location on Talang Road as a side note.

We stayed here for 3 nights but the room was only cleaned once during our stay so there isn't 'daily' housekeeping. Also there is no restaurant downstairs as it is now a souvenir shop so this means that there is no room service available like advertised. The staff were very friendly and answered all our questions about places to go. The beds are quite hard and firm but for me and my friends we actually found them quite comfortable, but this might be a deal breaker for others. The best part about this place is the location, it is literally on the street were night markets take place so when you exit the hostel after 6pm the street its bustling and there are craft and food stalls everywhere.

The place is value for your money, the building is quite old and you will have to walk up steep, uneven stairs but for the price this is more than worth it. Don't hesitate to ask the staff any questions or requests because they'll do there best to help.

Das Hotel, welches in/hinter einem Souvenir ist im wesentlichen günstig.
Das Zimmer an sich ist ein durch dünne Betonwände abgetrennter Raum, in dem ein extrem hartes Bett steht. Die Dusche ist auch sehr minimalistisch und nicht vom Klo abgetrennt, so dass dieses immer nass ist, nachdem jemand Duschen war. Zudem gibt es keine Fenster.
Von der Lage her, ist das Hotel sehr gut. Es liegt nahe am Busterminal 2 sowie an der Markthalle, von der alle öffentlichen Busse fahren.
Was leider gar nicht funktioniert hat, war die versprochene Hilfe bei der Tourplanung. Zwar ist das Personal sehr nett, versteht aber so gut wie kein Englisch und kann nicht helfen.
Für alle, denen es egal ist, wie hart das Bett ist und die wenig Zeit in ihrem Zimmer verbringen möchten ist dies eine sehr günstige und empfehlenswerte Unterkunft. Allen anderen würden wir empfehlen sich etwas anderes zu suchen.

선데이마켓 보려고 일부러 딸랑로드에 있는 숙소를 잡았어요. 건물 바로앞에 야시장이 서서 위치는 정말좋구요. 계단이 좁고 가팔라서 넘어지는 바람에 웨지힐 부러졌구요. 공항가기전에 자정까지만 묵을 숙소로는 정말 괜찮았어요. 방에 계실예정이라면 냉장고가 없고 약간 냄새가 나고 창문이 안열리는것만 주의하셔서 고르시고, 저희처럼 밖을 돌아다닐거라면 에어컨도 있고, 위치도 좋아서 추천입니다.

Super séjour, vraiment hôtel de qualité ! Wifi super. Chambre faites chaque jour, personnel de l'hôtel sympathiques. Nous avons adorés notre séjour !

Maybe important detail is that the hotel is not a restaurant anymore but a tourist shop. However it is located in one of the nicest streets in phuket town, with plenty of really nice food places in the area. Room is clean, staff is willing to help. However, the beds are like stone (even for thailand) and there were no windows

The room was bigger than I expected which was nice. I was happy to see soap dispenser provided in the shower because I forgot mine. The toilet and shower are separated, as well as the sink. The temperature was stable and fine.
