The Minworth Club & Lodge

It's cheap and cheerful. For the price you pay, don't expect the Ritz. But the rooms are clean and comfortable, the wi-fi works, there is a nice big car park and the staff are friendly.

There is no breakfast, l was information that there was but no person in the whole building Everything was closed.

Exactly what you would expect from price of stay. I used this as a stop over the night before an event 10 mins from here so was perfect for what was needed. Friendly staff in the bar and cheap pint so all good!

Easy check in and convenient location

Really welcoming, good location. Was woken up about 6am by the guests next door talking really loud. Other than that, a good stay.

Stopped here a few times now, staff very polite and accomadating. Would recommend a stay. They do fantastic homemade pizza too. 😁

Had a great stay Luke and his team are great very friendly and approachable nice bar the breakfast is fantastic especially for the price and the pizza shack in the beer garden is really good excellent fresh pizzas definitely stay again as the rooms are clean comfortable with great pillows

We had a lpvely stay, it was quiet, clean and comfortable. Staff were really ftiendly and helpful. We had a great breakfast in the morning. Would recommend a stay.

No kettle in the room so you cant make yourself a cup of tea and no fridge

Easy location to get to

We couldn’t regulate the water temperature in the shower. Other than that everything was fine.

Staff went above and beyond to accommodate me. I can’t say enough about how friendly and welcoming everyone was. I can’t wait to visit Birmingham again.

The main lounge is crawling with flies. Multiple bathrooms have mold on the walls. The rooms have a horrible stench. The locks on the door are cheaply made, and anyone can see through them. I could easily hear what other people were doing late at night so it was hard extremely hard to rest. The property is unbearable in many ways.

Really nice staff but disappointed there was no fresh towels for 2nd night of stay and bed wasn’t made up. Only other thing was no Kettle in the room.

Upon arrival and parking in the carpark I was concerned I have made the wrong choice. I went into the bar area and spoke to staff and I found them to be incredibly helpful and wanting to ensure that the process of checking in was easy. Though out my stay I felt comfortable and welcomed. The only criticism I have is that there was no food available through out our stay. However, there is plenty of restaurants and bars nearby and within walking distance. Overall I liked it there and plan to go back with the children. The new owner and the staff were so keen to help make my stay a good one. Yes there were events in the evening and during the day but I feel that was to be expected given the properties location and cost. It was nice to see the community actively use the building. I would like to thank all of the staff there for making my stay relaxing.

The noise was so loud noone could sleep
2 competing discos followed byfireworks at 2 am
The bed covers were stained
Shower didn't work
The fire door next to my room was left open all night and so my room smelt of cigarettes
People were fighting in the car park
The next morning the main door was locked so we could only exit by the fire exit
There were no staff around to complain to before we left
The car park was littered with broken glass as we left
