The Lodge at Jackson is the closest hotel to Mount Washington, located just 2 miles north of Storyland in Jackson, New Hampshire. Individually decorated rooms with a seating area and private bathroom. Some rooms offer a luxurious spa bath for ultimate relaxation. Enjoy a seasonal outdoor pool, gardens to explore, a tennis court for some friendly competition, and a children’s play area for the little ones. Located just 2 miles from Story Land amusement park and adjacent to Wentworth Golf Club.

Frustrating.
Pros:

Breakfast was ok. The staff was very friendly.

Cons:

Your booking site misrepresented the distance to the Cog Railway from this hotel. It was written as 12.7 miles when in reality it was 33 miles.

We booked this hotel for it supposed proximity to the Mt. Washington Cog Rail Way.

Probably wont ever book with booking.com again because of this.

The surrounding grounds were beautiful. The flowers were colorful and cheery. The outside of the property was inviting and charming.

Cons:

A surcharge for checking in an hour before official check in time was a little extreme. I would think that would help stagger guests so they're not all trying to check in at once

This was an amazing place to stay in Jackson. Scrupulously clean, beautiful grounds with gorgeous flowers, and lovely interior decor. The staff (owners) were amazing, extremely helpful and friendly, and always working to make our experience the best ever. We were very impressed with this hotel and will recommend it highly!
