Pros:

Room 400. Great top floor view views over the French Quarter. Ideal central location in a quiet street near the French Market. Friendly staff. Why stay in a chain hotel when you can experience this old world charm.

As a New Orleanian, I knew all about this hotel, but had never suggested it to my visitors, or used for a staycation. I
Pros:

The location is perfect. This is one of a handful of locally owned small hotels in the French Quarter, and it reflects that care. The check in was easy and professional. The room was fine, maybe could use some new upholstery and maybe some touch ups on the furniture, but it was pretty and very comfortable.

Cons:

If I had know that smokers use the courtyard, I would have requested a room away from it.
