The location is good, the staff friendly & it is quiet.

Cons:

This is a run down hotel, paint peeling in room, lumpy mattress, bath fan inoperable, hair dryer inoperable, lamps missing bulbs, stained carpet & bedspread. Dresser missing handles, mirror peeling. The positive is new ownership closing for 5 months to renovate. Don't go b4 renovation.

Great stay in the heart of the French Quarter
Pros:

My sisters and I wanted to stay in the French Quarter when we visited New Orleans and Hotel Villa Convento was perfect!
The atmosphere of the hotel and the friendly staff made for a great vacation.

Cons:

The parking situation was a little difficult but with the narrow roads and the close together buildings it can't be helped. I was just happy we had covered parking available.

Zimmer sauber, etwas in die Jahre gekommen, gesamte Haus aber gemütlich, man kann im Innenhof draußen sitzen, sehr gut im French Quarter gelegen

Our go-to property in the Quarter!
Pros:

Staff is exceptional, rooms are clean and quaint. Beds very very comfy. The location is central to all we want to see and do in the area, yet on a quiet street. We feel safe and well cared for.

We love staying here. It is our home away from home. It is as quirky as I am, but comfortable as my favorite sweater. I know there are lots of choices for places to stay in the FQ, but we wouldn’t stay anywhere else!

Such a great, quaint spot with a lovely cafe across the street and in an even lovelier area - couldn’t have asked for a

Beautiful historic building right by the Ursuline Convent museum; off the beaten path enough to be away from all the noise but still in the middle enough to get anywhere quickly by walking! The parking garage off Frenchman’s was a great bonus with SUPER cute artwork!

Cons:

A little sad at first to hear it’s going to be remodeled starting in May, but to hear the description of the renovations I can’t wait to come back to stay once it’s done!
