The room needed cleaned which grossed me out.

The bathroom was dirty, the shower and shower curtain were wet and the room looked like it hadn’t been swept.

No restaurant or breakfast - ALSO, the fire alarm went off at "1:30 AM" in the morning and disrupted EVERYONE. We had to jump out of bed, EVACUATE our room, and all head outside.... and it was pouring rain!!! Lobby was a total disaster filled with people that did NOT want to go outside and stand in the pouring rain, so lobby was VERY congested (wall-to-wall people). NO ONE (STAFF) was around to even tell us what the issue was (a real fire, someone that put off the alarm by mistake or on purpose)....it was very NON-informative as to what happened to disrupt EVERYONE's sleep and send us out into the parking lot...not knowing if we were even going to be able to return to our rooms. That is what was very disappointing! After getting soaking wet running out into the parking lot and to our cars, we waited uninformed about the entire situation, and then 10-15 minutes later, we just watched other people GOING BACK INSIDE to their rooms, so we figured it was safe?!?!?! It took a while for everyone in my family to get re-settled in and fall back to sleep after that nightmare of an ordeal :(

Pros:

First and foremost I think they need to be more clear that your stay does not include parking at cedar point amusement park, even when buying a ticket package. On their website it should somewhere clearly state parking for the park not included, the only thing about parking states parking included with full in and out privileges, but that refers to the hotel. This can be confusing for guest and the hotel website should be more transparent. The beds were FIRM! And the bedding top blanket was as thin as the sheet itself, I ended up having to go out and buy a blanket for sleeping. The room was dusty and you could tell they just do a surface clean and they don’t really get into the nitty gritty. The location was great and the pool area was good. The staff was friendly. I would not stay here again you could easily get a better room somewhere else and still be close to the park and there’s plenty of ways to get deals into the park online.

Nice stay! Close to CP!
Cons:

The only issue we had was kids knocking on our window and running since our window was facing the pool on the first floor! Also, there was a party out in the lobby I believe a birthday party and they were quite loud! Everything about the hotel itself was great!

Booking third-party you get no benefits, but still pay a high rate

The price for a cedar point property and just because I booked third-party I was unable to get tickets to Cedar point. I had to purchase separately when I could’ve purchased a cheaper room and better tickets.

The bed ar really comfortable and the staff are helpful in any questions you have.

Party Time Central
Pros:

Do Not Stay Here if you need to sleep or enjoy any downtime when you visit Sandusky. The hotel is out of control with guests partying in the hallways, children running up and down and banging on doors and nothing can be done by the hotel property. Towels and linens were pretty cheap but new towels provided each day. I was very disappointed based on the cost and affiliation with Six-Flags parks.

We were there for wrestling. We’ll stay somewhere else next time.
Pros:

The pool and easy access to the location for wrestling

Cons:

The price! We’ve stayed at hiltons for less than we paid here and it’s definitely no Hilton!! No free breakfast, no coffee in the lobby etc.

Pros:

The convenience to cedar point was nice. The hotel was clean and smelled fresh. The front desk and gift shop people were all nice and approachable.

Cons:

The only thing I would change is quieter ice machines 😁 they was a little noisey
