Bkackpool Saturday Night
Pros:

Location, hotel, staff, bar, parking, breakfast.

Cons:

It would gave been useful to have power sockets near the headboard end of the bed..i have medical equipment that i need to plug in.
I did find a workaround....just slept at the other end if the bed....no big issue.
Reveption may have had an extension lead but i didnt check.

Convenient and fairly comfortable
Pros:

Nice room with sea view, comfortable chair and bed. Reasonably clean and breakfast adequate.

Cons:

The shower was barely usable with temperature never stable going from scalding hot to freezing cold every few seconds. The bathroom in general could do with updating. The room cleaning was erratic and tea/coffee/ milk weren't topped up. Not enough power sockets particularly near bed.

Not happy as I saw the score on Booking.com as 8.0, but the hotel was terrible.
Pros:

Location

Cons:

Run down. Arrived in the late afternoon so decided to have dinner in the hotel, first course my husband and I had mushrooms on toast, it was cold, the main course was pink pepper chicken, it was ok but I found the vegetables to be tough. We tried dinner again on our last night, had the chicken again. Just before it was served to us we were told one of the chicken breast had a bone in, I did eat it as my husband hates chicken with bone in. Breakfast was bad. We both paid £11.50 to find the bacon, tomato and eggs look like they had been cooked a week ago. My husband ended up with one sausage some mushrooms and a croissant. I ended up with a bowl of Alpen, slice of toast and a muffin.
When I put my walking stick on the floor near the wall where we were sitting for breakfast I saw a 3” nail on the floor.
Bathroom was terrible, I struggled getting into the bath to shower, then the water was either too hot or freezing cold.
There were two pillows on the bed, I moved them around on second night to find blood on the bottom pillow. Told reception in the morning, pillow changed when I came back that evening.
