The property was beautiful and was so well maintained and protected. It’s a pathway to the beach and then you’re there . Everything was very clean
We had a great stay at this place. The place was clean, comfortable, and the atmosphere was very welcoming.
Gorgeous location, very helpful staff, excellent food and comfortable rooms
Nothing
Nice facilities
A great shower & comfortable bed
A fridge and drinking water in the room
Friendly staff
Bicycles for rental- a great way to get around.
Complimentary coffee in the morning and a complimentary cocktail on arrival.
Location in the National Park makes it extremely inconvenient- you have to pay 125 pesos to get in and can’t bring any plastic or glass bottles in. The rules seemed quite arbitrary and very annoying. I had to buy a glass bottle of water at the hotel for 100 pesos only to have to throw it out when re-entering the National Park.
If you are not planning to leave the hotel and stay in the park the whole time, then you should be ok.
The beach out front is a fishing beach full of fishing boats and seaweed that doesn’t get cleaned.
The restaurant doesn’t have a lot of Mexican options and the other restaurants in the area are also not great, and highly overpriced. Cocktails were nice, though!
Nice rooms, nice buildings, nice staff.
So the place would have potential but greed and mismanagement is making it bad. The people who work here are really trying to help but they can’t change the facts. The owners need to step in!! The sewer is open and poop is literally coming out of the shower sink, the kitchen at the beach spreads every day smells of oils and frying across the place, the party music is always on, beach goers are invited to join the restaurant and chill area so that it’s always busy and the best places are not available for the hotel guests. Breakfast is so complicated as there are only a few options that are included in the paid-breakfast option and they are absolutely not flexible to make any changes, even small ones, without extra pay. And the ocean in front of the hotel is covered with snorkeling/tourists boats that prevent easy water access.
The setting is lovely, tranquil and exotic. The bungalows were nice and private with a very nice outdoor deck. Loved it.
The hotel is kind of isolated and there is really not many options for meals. When you order something you kind of know what the bill will be…. Our meal bills ended up more than expected, add ons not accounted for. Caution!
Also, we did not always have hot water for showering.
