Very uncomfortable
Pros:

Staff are very kind

Cons:

The food was vile and the bed was not great room was freezing and not very clean just didn't like atall

Did not meet expectations
Pros:

Location, private garden, room set up.

Cons:

Electric heater, burn on bed throw, description was spa bath but was just a normal bath with shower. Reception staff seemed preoccupied and not very welcoming. Bar closed at 09:30 instead of 00:00 as it was quiet, impacting staying paid guests who would like to have used the facilities. Doors locked at 23:55pm, difficult and awkward as nobody available at reception to allow smoking guests out of the hotel for a cigarette.

Comfortable one night stay in good location
Pros:

Clean room. Comfortable mattress and good pillows. Bedding was good quality We had lunch in the bar which was well presented and tasty. Staff were courteous and helpful. No complaints

Cons:

The room was quite dark and in need of a little updating. The step up to the bed is a tripping hazard. And bed was surrounded by hard wooden frame. It was like sleeping in a cot, and being small it was difficult to get out. Though the mattress itself was very comfortable

Comfy and enjoyable
Pros:

Breakfast was delicious we had the Scottish breakfast.
We ate in the restaurant, food was good Services’s excellent.
Room was spacious and clean. Bed was very comfy.
Would definitely stay here again and would recommend to friends.

Cons:

There was nothing I didn’t like about our stay.

Very pleasant stay, would definitely recommend and book again
Pros:

Was very happy with my stay, room was immaculate and very comfortable.
Also had a meal booked, meal was lovely and the staff offered an excellent service.

Cons:

There is nothing that I disliked, I enjoyed my stay and staff were very helpful and pleasant.

Best hotel Ive stayed at in East Kilbride
Pros:

The staff were very friendly and helpful, the decor was nice. Food was excellent.

Cons:

Hardly any water pressure in the shower (room 16) and no heating on in the middle of January. They did switch the heating on when I raised this and the room was eventually toasty.

Room wasn't particularly clean: biscuit crumbs from previous guest on the chair and carpet could do with a refresh.

Stay at the Torrance.
Pros:

It was great location wise and room had good facilities. The restaurant was also amazing.

Cons:

The room was dusty and table stained. The sink also had some previous toothpaste residue from I assume the previous customer. My keycard wouldn’t work twice after leaving room which was inconvenient. There was no do not disturb cards in the room also so i felt a little uncomfortable as I was on my own for a few days. The shower also leaks.

Short stay to see friends
Pros:

Breakfast was really good. Ordered from a menu and "smorgasbord" cereals etc. Close to East Kilbride town (walking distance) for bars and shops. Parking easy on site. Rooms were well appointed. All staff were very friendly and helpful. Would stay here again next time we are in EK. And, very importantly - good coffee!

Great hotel and location and staff. Very cosy and welcoming.
Pros:

Location is great . Close to local restaurants and bars . Staff were lovely and couldn’t have been more helpful

Cons:

Some rooms have the bed on a ledge which is a bit dangerous for older guests when they get up during the night - the ledge is a trip hazard.
