Pros:

Sehr aufmerksame Gastgeber insbesondere das Besitzerpaar. Das früh morgentliche Bad im Fluss zusammen mit dem Eigentümer war top. Sehr entspannt, meditativ und unterhaltsam. Ich erfuhr einiges über das Leben vor Ort und die geschäftlichen Umstände.

Cons:

Achtung: Mückenspray dabei haben. Sonst hat man Ärger in der Nacht 😉

Position and downstairs facilities

Cons:

The “en-suite” was awful, crammed into a bedroom that was designed for a shared bathroom. Certainly doesn’t deserve 4 star status. We didn’t see any other rooms so we can only judge the room that assigned.

staff, breakfast, general surrounds all very good.

the room was very noisy - as it was over the road and also the bar/cafe area and the noise was considerable.

What incredible staff, an absolute representation of care and complete consideration
Pros:

Exquisite display of a variety of local art.
The staff are EXCEPTIONAL.
Bathrooms are spacious.
Breakfast was delicious
A truly creative hotel

A unique experience
Pros:

We drove over 750 km, specifically in order to stay at this hotel, which we had heard about as a unique experience. We were not disappointed. Restaurant and bar meals truly excellent.

Cons:

Upper story accessible by outside stairs. In return for a wonderful balcony overlooking the main street of the town. Stairs may be a bit of a problem for some, and the choice should somehow be made more clear ahead of booking.

Very pleasant night stop on any day of the week.
Pros:

Location, design and decor and mainly the staff who are very interested and willing at all times.

Cons:

Not much really. The ceiling fan in our room, the San room was ineffective but staff supplied a standard fan.

Take yourself back in time into an exquisite Art Deco space. A real treat!
Pros:

Stunning old Art Deco hotel. So beautifully done. Love all the art and the themes in each room. Exceptionally friendly staff! Bar meal and breakfast was very tasty! Very comfortable beds.

Cons:

Small thing - bath room needs a little attention (loose toilet seat) and shower floor is a bit wonky.
