Pros:

unhelpful staff. seemed an imposition to ask for anything. long walk to rooms should provide transportation to and fro to reception area. restaurant only open for breakfast or dinner. should be open all day for an establishment this big.

Needs a lot of updating!
Pros:

This was one of the most expensive hotels I have stayed in and one of the worst looking. Smelled like pot and cigarettes, beds ancient, they got the booking all wrong etc. needs updating before I would consider it again!

Nice place
Pros:

Nice place, could be cleaned more often and at the recetion they should explain better what the lodge offers. Gym is ok. I knew nothing about the trail or about the car museum. Such a shame i spent there 10 days!

Enjoyed my stay. Very quiet.. Rooms are clean, spacious with living room, kitchen, bedroom, bath. Bed is comfortable, shower is good with plenty of hot water. Staff is very accommodating; requested a new pillow, which arrivedin 10 minutes. furnishings are dated, but good quality which has withstood the test of time. Exception is the two flatscreen TVs. Would return without hesitation.

A good place to stay few days in Fairbanks
Pros:

Comfortable and in a good location. Staff very nice.

Cons:

The place needs a refurbishment. Also, the lack of shower gel is annoying.

Nice comfortable lodging.
Pros:

Nice room, clean. I wasn't ready for the mosquitos, but not the property fault! We even had mosquitoes in the building where my meeting was held; right beside the entrance to the wildlife trail...

Pros:

The beds were uncomfortable and the air conditioner did not reach the outlet and couldn't be used when the weather was warm and the room was toasty. The carpets and furniture smelled musky in room P48. Will likely stay elsewhere if possible. A comfortable bed and clean smelling room is a priority when traveling.

Decent rooms that could use some renovations
Pros:

Overall, the rooms were pretty good, however, the aesthetic is pretty outdated! Additionally, it would be very helpful if upon check-in you were given detailed instructions to your building and the exact quadrant that your room is in.

Amazing room and the staff are special. The room was like a full apartment. The best stay in a week long trip. The location was close to good resturants

Good location, staff were excellent. A little dated but served a purpose
Pros:

Location was excellent.
Jerry your driver was outstanding & couldn’t do enough.
Reception staff were all very friendly.

Cons:

The tap in the bathroom sink was not operational.
The food at bear lodge cafe was embarrassing & probably the worst breakfast we’ve had in our 4 week stay in North America. We weren’t game to eat anywhere else.

I had to call the front desk for quite a few things but they were very helpful in bringing us what we needed
