First Canada Inn Cornwall

Some of the towels were stained. The door has not been cleaned for a long time. The furniture were old. The staff were not helpful in rescheduling the trip without paying a fine.

Stayed 1 night.

It was a very nice room very clean and extremely nice staff

It was a plain room. More decor would be nice and no hair dryer!

Front desk staff was very pleasant and appropriately attentive.

It was a quiet and acceptably clean, basic hotel. We were pleased overall. Good value for the price.

needs to be updated and carefully cleaned. Found hairs in bed and bathroom . . .

Nice, little motel for the budget.
Our room had been updated, except the bathroom. (Which was fine)

Staff were very nice and accommodating

This time we stayed there we were on an inside room on the hallway and we woke up at 3 am and 4 am by people arguing in the hallway.
Last time we were there we were in an outside room and it was quiet.
Other than that it was fine and affordable.

Room required maintenance and a thorough cleaning, ie broken door, mold in bathroom

Convenient location, easy to find.
There was an Italian restaurant beside the property that was excellent.
Check in was frustrating.
The lady was on her cell phone the entire time talking to a friend or family. She didn't acknowledge me other than to ask for my drivers license which she threw back at me when I asked her to get off the phone.
The room didn't feel clean, very musty.
For a king sized bed, there were 2 tiny, lumpy pillows.
The people in the next room were outside talking until after 4 am.
It was a place to lay our head for the night.
I would not stay there again.

“I had a very bad experience at this hotel. The property manager was extremely disrespectful. When I asked for help checking my booking and Wi-Fi, he refused and told me to leave the hotel. He even insulted me and made me feel unsafe. I was left carrying my heavy bag alone and couldn’t arrange a ride because I had no internet. This was unacceptable treatment, and I do not recommend staying here.”

The outside dose not look very inviting.
However we were pleasantly surprised, the room was huge and had every thing we needed.

Conveniently located

They need to pay more attention to detail in cleaning the room and to fix damages in the property. Unfortunately I don’t think we will stay there again.
So sad because the property have a lot of potential

Very spacious, clean and comfortable room with a kitchenette. An older but well maintained motel and very affordable.
