The room was not clean whatsoever you could hear people screaming in the rooms next to mine all night the lamp didn’t even work the room was just filthy
Always great hosts. Tim shows care and connection with guests. They continue to upgrade the property. We will return again.
The scenery and location, weather and town vibes, free breakfast.
The room was incredibly dirty, and the front desk didn’t bother to take my requests about cleaning seriously that I had to directly ask the housekeeper, even after which we see that the bedsheets were just refolded and not changed. The laundry is in the arcade and not in a separate room (baffling choice) and the air conditioning is terrible if you need a good night sleep because it has a strong wind at the lowest fan setting. Sometimes I see bedsheets piled up near the stairs of the corridor overnight.
We love the game room, the pool is always nice and the balcony have breath taking views, and absolutely amazing front desk service!!!!
Great staff, Location, and price. Super family friendly!
Could use a more thorough cleaning.
Musty smell in the room and lighting was terrible. Was like staying in a cave.
This was a very nice property. The layout is a bit funky but overall not too bad. It was clean, the staff was friendly and the breakfast was good. The location was convenient as we had rented a Jeep from Backbone Adventures as the primary activity during our two days in Estes Park. Backbone is pretty much right next door, could’ve walked there for our rental pickup.
We got a room with a parking lot view, the view from the balcony wasn’t the best but we enjoyed it anyway. The balcony was also slightly sloped, which made standing out there a little odd at first.
We were there for our 10 yr anniversary and the manager of the hotel made our room very special.
That's why evey year we go there
Didn't realize the hot tub was removed
The location was nice, we walked across the street to walk around the lake.
The room was not like the pictures posted. The room wasn't cleaned as well as I would have liked.
I loved the pool, though it could have been warmer! I also loved the rooms itself, very clean.
I did not like how cold the pool was!
You couldn’t beat the location and the room we stayed in was updated, clean, and comfortable. The staff was very friendly and welcoming. We loved that we could bring our dog.
Breakfast was very unique and not the typical fair we expected. There was noise from neighboring rooms and the hallway…. Just everyday noise of guests getting settled in. It wasn’t anything a white noise machine couldn’t help with though.
Big space. Friendly people.
The whole hotel smelled musty. The maintenance strategy in the room appeared to be: more caulk will cover or fix everything. The breakfast was very unusual. It needed more protein type items and fresh cooked waffles vs thawed out eggo waffles would really elevate it. Also if the breakfast would open earlier.
Good location. Good breakfast.
Pricey location.
My brother and I recently stayed at the Expedition Lodge to take an avalanche course in the park. We had plenty of space in the room for everything we needed for the skiing and the beds and furniture were clean and comfortable for a good nights' sleep. The environment in the common areas and of the lodge as a whole was warm and welcoming - I enjoyed eating early breakfasts downstairs and chatting with the staff. Most of all, Javeia and Tim were wonderful hosts and helped accommodate everything that came up during our stay with so much kindness. This will definitely be my go-to place to stay next time I'm up in Estes Park!
I liked the location because of how close down town was and also how many restaurants were literally right across the street from the hotel. As well as having Estes Lake right across the street was nice.
I don’t like that the hotel is like a maze, maybe it was the room we got but it seemed like forever to get from our room to the pool or the receptionist.
