Expedition Lodge Estes Park at Rocky Mtn National Park

Great place with great staff,? Everyone in front rest very helpful, i was driving a tractor trailer to recover a roll over in the Mtns & this place accommodated us perfectly w the big rig plus hotel was so clean & had a great sleep.

It’s nice being able to park right next to your room. And looking out your window and seeing mountains was amazing. Saw a couple of friendly deer in the parking lot.

Staff was polite and helpful. Room was nice. Got a room with a balcony that had great views. Pool was clean and warm. Game room was a nice addition. I would go there again and would recommend staying there to others.

Easy hotel to get to right on the edge of town. The views from that hotel are some of the best in town. I asked for a room with a view and that was granted. The check in was super easy, the people that helped me, Tim and J, were so friendly and helpful. I wish I was able to stay a bit longer to check out the area more and try some of their fantastic breakfast spread. I will be back to Estes Park and will hopefully be able to stay at this hotel again.

Great experience staying at this hotel. I didn't get a chance to explore everything, but the staff was so nice, I want to go back. The room was spacious, well appointed and clean. The bed was super comfortable. Shout-out to Tim, who made sure I was taken care of with my late arrival, and the other staff that took care of me at the front desk, Javeia, Tony and Tial. They definitely run a pet friendly hotel.

We were here with a church group and just blessed by the joy and helpfulness of Tim and J!

Drove 15 hours from Texas to stay here and arrived at check-in time only to find people in hazmat suits and the building completely shut down due to a fire. At no point were we notified this had happened. In fact, we received a confirmation email the night before as if everything was completely normal.

Being left without a place to stay three states away after a 15-hour drive is beyond unacceptable. The lack of communication is honestly shocking. A simple email, call, or cancellation notice could have prevented us from showing up to a closed building with nowhere to go.

If a property is literally shut down, notifying your guests should be the bare minimum.

The location and price were great.

This is my partner and I’s favorite place to stay when we come to Estes park. The hotel itself is old and not everything is the neatest or cleanest, but their staff is always so incredibly friendly and accommodating and they have a 24 hr game room and an indoor pool for when you’re here in the winter months, and free unique breakfast! Any of the problems we had were not enough to justify less than 4 stars, especially for the price.
