Our sink was clogged, we realized too late in the night otherwise they would have fixed it right away!
Location was great. Beds were comfortable. Room was clean. We loved the views and the deck on the front of the property. Nothing fancy, but gets the job done!
Property is a bit outdated, so walls were pretty thin.
I had a good stay here. It's not fancy, but good location, clean large rooms, and great service. Gemma at the front desk was amazing, helpful, responsive to my questions and needs.

Location is great with a pretty view of the lake. The pool was fine for the kids. Room was as advertised. We didn't have a chance to try the breakfast since we left too early in the morning before it was open. My only complaint was that we were in the far wing of the hotel that had an extra half set of stairs that the elevator didn't go to. We had a lot of gear to carry in, and it made it really hard since the wheeled carts couldn't go up the stairs. It also made it a challenge when leaving so early in the morning...we felt like we were getting out of a maze.

It’s old rundown and dirty in areas. We were not comfortable there. Pictures on line can be deceiving. Mattresses uncomfortable
The hotel has a good location and it's very easy to find.
The hotel is quite simple and could benefit from some updates and renovations. We chose to stay there because it offered good value for the price.
The location was close to all the attractions I wanted to see
The room was outdated, the view from the window was terrible (trash bins overloaded with trash), my key to my room didn't work twice, I had to go to the front desk for new keys
Beds were comfortable. Liked the on-site self laundry. Wifi was good. Pool looked good. Free parking.
Its a motel that's trying to be a Lodge. Room opened onto parking lot and stone yard. Could it have grass, plants, flowers instead of a desert?
No daily maid service. Trash not emptied, towels not restocked after 2 days.
We were among the guests who booked a room with breakfast. On check-in, we should have been given the $10 vouchers instead of having to appeal to mngr.
This is a Correction which replaces my initial Review dated Aug. 1 when I was informed at check in there was no longer free breakfast. I always select hotels with free breakfast and would not have booked this one had I known it had been discontinued. I took this up again after I moted travel sites were still posting free breakfast. I was referred to Mngr. Gemma who had seen my initial TA Review. She was apologetic and responded by offering vouchers for discounted breakfast at the newly opened, on site Cafe. This is the kind of customer service to be expected when customers are not to blame for mistakes. A professional manager makes things right by standing behind original offers. Thank you, Mngr. Gemma, for being a travel industry professional.
Overall, the personnel were extremely nice. The facility itself is a flashback to the 1970s. Some refurbishing needed. Attention to detail needed like repairing poor tile grout installation in bathroom. Beds were comfortable, we slept well. There was no daily room cleaning. We are okay with reusing towels once or twice, but had to request fresh ones the third day of stay. Amenities like coffee bar were a plus.
Location is excellent, great view of mountains. Room was clean and comfortable. Great value!
Unfortunately, we had very rude neighbors who kept making noise and shouting until 1 AM both nights of our stay. While I know this isn't the hotel's fault, it definitely impacted our experience.
Regarding breakfast, the options were very limited and strictly cold. Even the boiled eggs and bacon were served cold, which is not really to my taste.
Location of the hotel
It's an older complex that the awesome new owners are continually updating. The hospitality outweighs any shortfalls. The elevated front deck serves as a great overlook year round both day and night.
The game room features 2 pool tables and numerous video games. They also provide bunches of family oriented board games. Not the fanciest, but the most pleasant family friendly establishment in Estes. We had actually stayed a year ago on New Year's Eve as a family group of 10. It was shortly after the new ownership, and to see the progress is amazing.

There could be more trash cans around along with a few designated smoking areas. There were a few butts lying around.
The staff was very helpful and nice. Many parking spacefor free. Breakfast was good.
The room was ok, but need to renew the room and the
bathroom
Liked the coziness of the place.
Our room may have been a smoking room before, so it had a funny odor.
