Location and Garden
The hotel was rated a “historic 5-star,” which apparently here means a dirty, disgusting carpet. A stinky room! Nr.133 It was truly awful. Like sleeping on a sewage treatment plant. The air conditioning was as loud as a Boeing 747. Very noisy! The food was disgusting and expensive. No room service. No water in room. Empty fridge. No Minibar. So my rating is a maximum of 3 stars—a motel, not a hotel. They need to invest! They shouldn’t just be making money because there’s nothing else around. And the claim that we’re in the desert? Haha. It’s just filthy and overpriced. This hotel doesn’t live up to a 5-star rating.
Location is just inside the park, very convenient to all attractions , pool is also good for a stay there
Air conditioning is terrible, we were not able to sleep due to the heavy noise, in the end the staff changed anther room for us

Die Lage war top. Einkaufmöglichkeit, auch zum Frühstück holen in unmittelbarer Nähe im Center.
Schöner Pool. Top war einfach nur die Lage im Valley.
Wir erhielten ein Durchzimmer und haben um einen Wechsel ersucht. Dies gestaltete sich als schwierig. Plötzlich waren alle Casitas (die größeren Zimmer) besetzt. Wir erhielten am Ende das Zimmer für beeinträchtigte Personen. Die Dame an der Rezeption war ungeduldig und ungehalten und konnte mit unserem Missfallen schwer umgehen. Das Hotel punktet, weil es nicht viele Alternativen im Valley gibt. Unangenehmer Geruch im Hotel aber auch der Casita (die übrigens auch eine Verbindungstür hatte)

Lovely setting & grounds. Fantastic terrace for daytime views & stargazing. Very good quality food & service at both dinner & breakfast. Really nice property & remains in keeping with era. Comfortable rooms. Helpful suggestions on places to visit.
We had a room in main building where the air con was very noisy & cannot be switched off. Not sure if this affects the entire property but if not, I would ask for a room in another part of the property if went again.
Bar shuts at 9pm. Some guests arrived just after that time & were refused to be served.

On arrival at our room the air conditioning was quite noisy and we asked to move to another room. We were upgraded to a casita at no extra cost. The staff were all very friendly. I would thoroughly recommend
