Pros:

The location is great, at the upper end of the Wanda resort. It's right next to one of the steeper ski slopes. Even if you aren't a professional skier, it's nice to watch this slope from the hotel lobby. They also have swiings for the children outside next to the slope. The village with many nice local restaurants is just around the corner. Majority of the restaurants will pick you up in their car if you call in advance. Down the road inside the resort is an outdoor shopping area with a supermarket, restaurants and ski clothing stores. This is also where the main ski slope is.

Cons:

There was no ventilation in the hotel bathroom, which we found very odd. As it's winter, the heating in the room was on, but we found it to be too warm, and we had to ask for a portable AC as the main AC didn't cool down the room at all. In saying this, our friends' room was a good temperature, so i guess it varies. Our safe didn't work as I couldn't even turn it on. The lobby floor was quite dirty. Quite a lot of the lobby tables were dirty and had not been wiped down after others had used them. I can understand the staff might have been too busy as it was peak holiday time.

Pros:

Hotel checkin agent did ask me for a ¥2000 deposit even though I've paid in full by a valid credit card when I booked with Hotel.com on-line, but I insisted not to pay the deposit. It was really annoying and I considered it was a harassment.

Great hotel for beginner skiers. Clean, comfy, and value for money.
Pros:

Well appointed hotel with all the essential facilities for a comfortable ski vacation. Adjacent to the magic carpet ski area. Clean and comfy. Staff were helpful to a foreigner like me get around.

Cons:

Breakfast / hotel restaurant was disappointing in terms of quality of food. Shuttle bus to the main ski area was inadequate (overcrowded, unable to board).

Asked help from staff to buy Changbaishan tickets, they said it was all sold out and tried to sell me tour tickets from a third party four times the price. I asked help from Chinese friend and she found tickets in a minute - plenty was available 😃

Close to the ski lift

Cons:

Room temperature was 30 degrees Celsius with no option to turn it down. People smoking in the lobby with management doing nothing. No knives and forks at the restaurant!!!!! This is HOLIDAY INN, an INTERNATIONAL hotel chain. No knives and forks, ridiculous. Eating bacon and eggs with chopsticks. Nice guys.

it was comfortable and for me perfect for a ski trip

Cons:

guests should be advised that ski in requires being able to access black run to return. Staff tried hard when communicating but as an expat it was not very easy when checking in and getting ski hire.

Pros:

酒店位于万达国际度假村，度假村面积很大，就在果松山下，环境非常好，适合休闲。酒店赠送的缆车、自行车等休闲项目挺不错的。自驾车的话，停车也很方便。应该说，酒店提供的设施与服务，还是基本到位的。看了评论，大家抱怨比较多的是酒店的服务，平心而论，酒店的服务意识还是有的，无奈旅客数量大，质量难免跟不上。比如早餐，为了赶七点钟去长白山的班车，六点半刚一开餐，众多旅客一拥而上，这种抢食的阵仗，在三亚、丽江等处也曾遭遇过。在国内的旅游热门地区，只能调低一下自己的期望值吧。

Good Location, bad room & bad facility
Pros:

Very good location & bad service. If re-paid in Hotels.com, Holidays Inn couldn't get the payment so require me despoit. Until several days, still no refund. And don't stay the room over floor 5, very bad cool aircondition!
