Sheraton Daqing Hotel

Certainly a good choice for visiting Daqing. The hotel is located next to a large shopping mall, offering a lot of restaurants and shopping. Good view over the city, especially from rooms located on the higher floors. Restaurants in the hotel are fine.

Note that most of the rooms are smoking rooms, even if declared as non-smoking, they will smell like smoke. Furniture and outside appearance would need some renovation soon.

Price is fair and personnel is very efficient. Impressed by the check out efficiency.
Room was ok, not exceptional.
Swimming pool is nice.
Personnel efficient and kind, even if not really speed.

I would undoubtedly give zero stars if I could. Booked my room via Marriott Bonboy for a non smoking room. I was assigned to a smoking room that smelled of cigarette smoke when I checked in. The air conditioner was not working even after two technicians tried to repair it. Room temperature stayed at 24.5 degrees. The technician even resorted to leaving the window open in the middle of a thunderstorm because of how hot it was in the room.

There was a power outage at 9:48pm while I was in the middle of taking a shower, forcing me to finish in total darkness. After turning on my cellphone’s flash light, I saw that the water in the bathtub was a putrid and ghastly yellow color when I was trying to wash my clothes. I showered myself just moments ago with that same dirty water!!! I tried to talk to the hotel management and left my phone number but there were no returning phone calls. Be aware.

Average room condition, stand clean room, but smoking smell in the nonsmoke room, air-condition doesn't work smoothly, can't be controlled in room individually, good quality food, which was supplied from the special supplier, stand cooking, not too much choices avaliable

The hotel is situated next to the mall with easy access to the mall. The lobby is great with a grand atmosphere. There is a buffet restaurant which have a nice dinner buffet with Chinese and western choices. It’s the same restaurant for breakfast.

I had a nice room and the temperature was 28 degree Celsius in the room, which is very warm on a cold day. I tried to adjust the temperature with no result. I asked the hotel twice to kindly get the temperature on a reasonable level, without any result and no offer for another room. At check out the manager apologized, this is not enough to explain the lack of service. I don’t think this can be blamed on communication, is was lack of proper services.

We moved to another hotel based on this experience.

Nice proper hotel good located near a shopping mall and several restaurants near by. Clean , fresh hotel.The rooms and bath room are clean and spacious. The staff was quite friendly. Missed bigger variability of english chanels on TV. Big Breakfast available European or Chinese style. Unstable WI-FI not so fast.

Was a good stay, close to the university we were visiting. Had a problem with the heat in the room, they could not fix it right away, so they helped us move to another room.

Hotel at the highest level!
The rooms have everything you need! Here I stayed only for one day, but the impressions were only pleasant! Kind service staff, a fine restaurant in which you can try all that is to your taste, any dish, several options for wine and other alcohol!

If you go to Daqing which most probably won't unless you have business there I strongly recommend the Sheraton hotel there. It's a great hotel for where it is. The rooms are spacious and clean and the staff friendly. My company volvo has an account there and I was there for business and it really impressed me. Good hotel.

I stayed here for one night and I can see that this hotel is the best in the area.
The room is large, elegant and perfect.
The breakfast variety is abundant, wifi is excellent, to be honest I cannot really find negative things in this hotel.
Definitely a recommended hotel if staying jn Daqing.

Not too many 5 star international hotels here, this one is one of the few. General Manager Hugo Zhang has recently taken charge and has trained his staff well.

During this visit I became ill and he immediately arranged for his staff to accompany me to the hospital and stayed with me the whole time. For anyone that has had the unfortunate situation to visit a local Chinese hospital, it is a nerve racking experience.

Front Desk manager, Candice Yang and Concierge Wells were both terrific and I know could not have managed without their help. Thank you.

I had a really comfortable room in the nice hotel.

I was in Daqing in January where the temperatur was below minus 20 degrees, so a good hotel and a nice restaurant was a reel heaven in the Cold.

This part of China is something really special in the wintertime

I stayed in this hotel for night, the lobby is huge and the style quite classic. Room and bath rooms are both comfortable. The breakfast buffet offers multiple choices. The hotel is well situated next to you a large shopping mall also featuring movie theaters.

I appreciated the space, the large bedroom, the bathroom, the comfortable king size bed and the diner buffet with Chinese and western good food. I didn't like the deluge shower with a too low flow, the lift card which works only in one position and the Internet flux too much weak. I had to leave very early and was disappointed not to find a tea or cafe pot in the room. This hotel is very quiet which is very rare in China.

Very nice food and all sorts of cuisine. Impressive buffe both breakfast and dinner. Sushi, pizza, Chinese, European - they have it all. Good work and service minded staff. Clean and classy. Also very good food at a low price for us foreigners. They had a dessert buffe. OMG! ⭐️⭐️⭐️

I was visiting the hotel for business, and both stayed at the hotel and used the restaurant for dinner.

A really good hotel, with very nice and large rooms, reasonable TV channel selection but unfortunately not a very good WIFI.

The dinner restaurant was really good with a good assortment of Classic Chinese dishes. Breakfast was also very Chinese - and not really my stile.

The hotel is right next to the biggest mall in Daqing. Although Daqing is a little dead, it's still in the most convenient spot possible.

The staff is super helpful and basically accommodated me in every way.

It is also the cleanest hotel I've stayed in China (and I've stay in many). I'm really particular when it comes to cleanliness and this hotel is top notch.

A definite must try.

Daqing is a sparsely populated city. Its quite a contrast to what you normally experience in China. The hotel location is central, that is to say its near the daqing tower, the Wanda mall and restaurants. the hotel itself has a lot to offer a comfortable stay. You get a lot more luxury here for similar rates than other major cities in China.

The hotel was adequate and comfortable. Our room could have been cleaner, however.
