The property was unique.
We weren’t able to see a lot of the property due to remodeling the lobby and it being closed.
The hallway to the rooms needs new carpets. Room was smaller than expected and the bathroom was very small.
I’d say the hotel is unique and you can tell they’ve done a lot of work to bring some life back to the property. The room was clean and the beds were comfortable. Our bathroom was very small.
My room was beautiful. I loved all of the dragonfly customization, down to the fun towel on the bed. This place has a lot of character--in a very good way. Thanks for the bottle of water at check-in too!

Tiny bathroom, tub plug was broken so tub would not hold water, and laminate (vinyl) floor was damaged and “repaired” with tape. Breakfast was described as “wonderful” but it was average. Lots of bread, donuts, with waffle-maker (timer did not work). Boiled eggs but no meat.
Bed was comfortable
After reading the high reviews we were very disappointed in our stay.. we booked 2 nights but only stayed 1 and decided it was better to drive 4 hours home in the middle of the night after a wedding than stay here again.. yes it’s freshly remodeled but the workmanship or lack there of was terrible .. the bathroom was extremely tiny.. the tub made terrible noises no matter where you stepped and the shower controls were already warn so you had to hold it just right to get it to work.. the hotel staff was nice but the rest of the atmosphere was sketchy, from dogs barking from adjoining rooms all night to loud cars. And all sorts of people drinking all over the property, a person just didn’t feel safe.. At $355 for 2 nights I definitely would not stay again or recommend to anyone else even if they cut the price in half or wouldn’t be worth it

Bathroom is tiny, extremely excessive noise from tub and some flooring, service was very struggling
Perfect stop on cross country drive- quiet, but close to amenities. Staff was lovely, room clean and comfortable. There's a great paved trail behind the hotel- so nice to walk the dog, rather than the side of a busy road. We stopped because of all the great reviews and we weren't disappointed.
