Location was okay. I make the trip to this area a couple times a year and I will stay there again.
The hall was trashy, there were delivery people up in the building at all hours of night. My rooms never got served. 3 people for two nights and only had two wash cloths and 3 towels. The pool was dirty and trash around the pool, there were only 6 chairs in the pool area.
The carpets in the rooms were stained,
One of the rooms had blood stains on the fold out sofa . One of my grandchildren got a flea on her in the room. When we went to the front desk to ask for more towels the attendant just said he was busy and said he would see what he could do, some 30 minutes later he brought the towels. Very unpleasant experience.
The hotel was close to the sports complex in Hamilton. The hotel room was clean and there was plenty of parking.
The male working the front desk the night we were there was not friendly or helpful (older white male). We ended up needing to stay one more than originally planned, so at check in I asked him if there were any room available and he said he did not know. I asked if he would look to see and he would not.
I needed to wash clothes because we were staying an extra night (only 1 washer and 1 dryer for entire hotel). I went to the front desk to get change for the machines and the employee said I was unable to get change. I asked him how I get change for the washer and dryer for the hotel and he stated I would have to go somewhere like the gas station.
The rooms were nice
We ate dinner at the restaurant. It was awful. See why it's always empty. Wish they served a free breakfast cause there's only 2 restaurants in area that serve breakfast.
Location, clean facilities, clean room, decent size room, comfortable bed, friendly staff
Had to pay for breakfast separately
We are staying 10 nights with my mother, my aunt, and my 5‑year‑old daughter.
On day one: no housekeeping at all. We returned at 11 PM to dirty towels, unmade beds, and full trash.
On day two: they removed trash and left new towels – but did NOT make the beds (we had left them straightened in the morning) and did NOT clean the bathroom.
For a Holiday Inn, this is not acceptable. I will speak with the manager tomorrow. I hope they fix this, but as of now, I cannot recommend this hotel for long stays or for families.
The staff were terrible and of no help. When we check in, the guy behind the desk (Gregg I think) was rude, on the phone, didn’t explain anything, just handed me two keys. When I asked for a luggage cart, he said all of them are probably with guests. Next morning when I check out, young guy sitting behind the desk on his phone, feet up. I greet and he looks at me like I’m lost. I ask whether they have luggage carts available, mind you is early morning now, he literally, I kid you not, literally shrugs at me and then again says they must be in use, I should go check the other floors. Not that he is going to try to find me one, no, I should walk around and look for one. I have never experienced staff less willing to help than this. The hotel itself was fine.
I learned the sheets on the let out couch were in the process of being changed out but had not during our stay.
This is the only thing we did not like, but was glad to get an explanation for why and was given a free night stay.
4 miles from VOA Park for a concert
The room felt moist. Humid Damp
Breakfast was very good, with many options.
The friendliness of the staff and the room
Having to pay for breakfast.
Je souhaite qu'on me rembourse mon argent svp
Clean
Coffee was old
The room was a gem. Clean, quiet and comfortable. Staff were pleasant and helpful. Kitchen prepared a great breakfast bar selection. Unfortunately there was a shortage of servers during our stay and the restaurant was not open, but we ate at nearby restaurants as needed.
Very nice
