Best Western Plus Intercourse Village Inn

If you are searching for the best hotel near Lancaster PA look no further then Best Western Plus Intercourse Village Inn and Suites in Intercourse PA. It is quaint and family owned and it shows in the pride they take in their property. We have stayed here a couple times before and this 3 day stay was perfect as our previous stays. The staff is so friendly, the hotel is clean, beds are comfy, and they actually clean the room everyday which seems to be unheard of at other hotels lately! They have a good complimentary breakfast and the lady in charge is a delight. Always so happy. Another nice perk is a free washer and dryer for guests to use! There is 24 hour coffee and tea in the lobby, a seperate building that houses an indoor pool and jacuzzi, and a nice outside sitting area with fire pit. Also across the street is the kitchen kettle shopping area.

Excellent experience, staff was friendly, courteous, and went out of their way to accommodate a change in dates for the reservation. Breakfast was homemade, fresh and tasty! Rooms were clean and very comfortable.

The breakfast was very good. It had a good variety and very clean. The location was perfect. Right near all the sightseeing that we wanted to do.

We liked the location, our children said it was fancy and we loved the pool.

Ants in the room! We tried to call down shortly after realized we had ants and noone answering. We were hoping for a different room but were so tired we just said screw it when they didn't answer rather than dressing and walking back down. I was also bitten by a spider and have a nasty infection brewing and treating it. I expressed concern to the sweet lady at checkout that they need to spray the room and she seemed concerned and asked that I spoke to the manager which I did. He didn't have much to say but thanks for telling us.

I have stayed at this hotel many times and it has always maintained its high level of cleanliness and friendly staff. Location is within walking distance of shopping, offering a safe atmosphere for an after dinner stroll.

Loved the outdoor patio area.

Location and cleaness

The best Western plus is my favorite hotel in the Lancaster/Intercourse area. This was my second stay in two years, traveling from North Carolina. I was celebrating my birthday. Terrific value for the money. Awesome breakfast, pool, hot tub, and workout room. Just book it! You’ll be pleased. The staff are friendly and accommodating. For example, I asked if it would be OK to leave my car in the parking lot for a few hours after check out so I could keep exploring the area and then to use the lobby restroom before I got on the road. In addition to saying yes to these requests, the front desk team welcomed me to grab a final coffee if needed and even asked if I had an umbrella for my walk around town. The staff also helped me locate some local bakeries. Little touches like these made my stay positive and memorable. I returned for a second visit because I remembered how great my first visit was two years ago. Sadly, many hotels today are eliminating in person front desk staff, removing hot tub tubs, have nightly rates that are too high for the average family, and don’t include breakfast. The Best Western Plus is a standout hotel and a model for others around the country. I wish this hotel was available in every town I visit.

Spent one night here. We do not usually stay at Best Western but the excellent reviews caught our attention. Very clean facility with a country feel. Very helpful caring staff. Bathroom seemed brand new and the bed was very comfortable. You will not find a cleaner motel room. Our room had a patio facing a gazebo. We did not use the spa, outdoor fireplace or pool which is in a separate building. Breakfast was more than adequate with a most helpful and friendly staff member. We would recommend this facility for short or longer stays as you visit all that the Lancaster area has to offer.

I loved how clean and nice the rooms were! We stayed here for our wedding night and then a year later for our first anniversary and both times were exceptional! The room was spacious and the jacuzzi tub was perfect! The staff was very nice and helpful too! We plan on making it a yearly tradition.
