The bathroom needs a window covering because the light from the hotel next door lights up the bathroom all night when we are in sleep mode.

When I booked I didn’t realize it was 2 levels w outside entrance to rooms - no elevator. Handicapped and mobility restricted should request ground level when booking. We arrived at 6pm and no ground level rooms left.

My wife and I enjoyed our stay very much
Pros:

The property and room were clean and well maintained, lots of grass for dogs, bbq area, pool, hot tub, close to restaurants and coffee!

The staff was very nice and welcoming throughout our stay. The bed was very comfortable and the room was roomy, well equipped and clean.

Great service, and gotta love a good continental breakfast!
Pros:

We had a good stay, the location is close to the airport, and we enjoyed the continental breakfast- there were more breakfast options we didn’t try since we only stayed one night. I lost an AirPod so I called back and got great service; Will followed up after looking personally and getting help from the cleaning staff. Thank you for looking and following up!

Good employees and Lobby was nice
Pros:

The updated lobby and breakfast area was clean and nice looking. Breakfastwas good and lots of choices.. Employees were friendly and very kind.

Cons:

The room could use a slight updating also
The area surrounding the motel was rundown and sketchy. Was uncomfortable to drive there.

Pros:

Clean rooms that were generously sized. We were traveling with our dog so I highly recommend it for pet travel - lots of grass and space on the property for potty breaks. We only stayed one night so cannot comment on the breakfast or pool but it looked nice! Easy access to the freeway to get into downtown Arcata and close to a dog beach.

Cons:

Seems like soundproofing between rooms was ok, but soundproof to the walkway was fairly poor.

Convenient location and good pool. Extremely friendly staff.

Cons:

The price was very high and the room could have been a little cleaner. The beds had a lot of wear with sagging mattresses, could use an update.
