excellent! i would recommend and stay again
Pros:

better than other hotels in the area such as the bear river casino hotel. the best western has a professional staff, comfortable beds, it’s clean, and quiet in general.

Cons:

i didn’t love that the building and the room itself were older and not super modern. they should also offer more value to their customers.

Comfortable and Clean
Pros:

I am so incredibly surprised! It has been years since I last stayed at a Best Western, but this experience totally changed my perspective. The hotel was absolutely perfect for our needs.

Our room was spotless and very comfortable, providing the perfect home base for our trip. I was also impressed by the laundry facilities—they were super clean and easy to use. The breakfast exceeded my expectations as well; it was a fantastic spread to start the day.

The staff truly stood out, too—very attentive and welcoming throughout our stay. The real "topper" for us was the great green space. They even have a dedicated dog area fully stocked with bags. It’s such a thoughtful touch, though it’s a bit disappointing when other pet owners don’t take advantage of the bags to clean up after their pets.

Great location, friendly staff
Pros:

We enjoyed the location. It was quiet but right off the freeway and maybe a 10 min drive to downtown Arcata. Staff was friendly! Breakfast options were available to us. There is a grocery store nearby and the small fridge and microwave were great to have.

Cons:

Pillows could have been better.

Pleasantly surprised. And Eli is awesome!
Pros:

The facilities are clean, well lit, well maintained, and staff are seen out and about. So you feel safe. The room was very clean. Beds comfortable. Peanut butter cookies were yummy. Staff very friendly.

Cons:

While close to freeway, the area in general is a little questionable. However, the place itself feels safe.

I would stay here again, easy to get to, clean and safe. Slightly overpriced. Staff were very friendly and helpful.
Pros:

Clean and well maintained, something’s are a little outdated but the cleanliness made it not an issue. I also do not typically stay in a motel because they don’t feel safe, however this property was great and felt very secure.

Cons:

The only thing I did not enjoy was the bed. Not comfortable. Bedding was clean and nice, mattress was terrible.

Very nice, will stay again
Pros:

Breakfast was the only weak point. Food wasn't ready when we arrived and not very tasty when it was available. Staff at breakfast seemed too busy, which wasn't their fault.
