I think this is a very good property near to the main fort area, but in a silent neighbourhood. Rooms are spacious with ample seating and storage. Restaurant service is good.
The approach road is very narrow. And there are some minor issues in plumbing.

Everything was fine its a nice stay
Overall an amazing stay. The owner, Mr. Maru himself is always present at the property. The staff is quite hospitable. They took care of my food allergies and prepared everything fresh. Rooms are quite spacious and bathrooms pretty clean.
The fort view from the terrace is a looker.
We had to request staff a lot with reasons like medical challenges concerning room individuals to get the IN-Room dining arrangement. This was unexpected that hotel does not provides in room dining.
Rooms and hotel aesthetics are good.
Location - it's in a gully and no proper transportation.
Also it's next to a dump yard and it always smells

Very aesthetic & good decor.
(1) No wardrobe in the room.
(2) No shower curtain.
(3) No soap & shower tray in the bath area.
(4) No elevator - as the restaurant is on the third floor - very difficult/impossible for senior citizens to go up & down - if the guest room is on the ground floor.
Eine wunderbare Unterkunft etwas Abseits vom Trubel im Fort. Wir haben hier, für Indien nicht selbstverständlich, sehr ruhige Nächte verbracht. Sehr freundliches, hilfsbereites Personal. Wir würden hier wieder übernachten.
L'hotel est très beau, le personnel est très gentil , la chambre est très confortable. Le patron nous a organisé une soirée dans le desert, seuls au monde. Le rêve! Je recommande vivement cet hôtel !

I did like the size of the rooms and the fact it has a heritage feel.
We were not informed upfront that breakfast is not part of the package and we had booked thinking it’s included. The staff didn’t clarify this and were also not very professional in the way they handled our last day at the hotel.

Lovely decor in this hotel on the edge of Jaisalmer. Maru, the owner, very helpful and accommodating. Food good, although restaurant just a little grubby. Rooms spacious and well appointed. Great value, and would recommend.
