Nice stay in Hanoi old quarter.
Pros:

Great location.
Staff was friendly and helpful.

Cons:

Small detail but having 2 access cards would have given us more flexibility as we were two and sometimes had to split up.
Also the room is rather small for 2 people but that is standard Hanoi size.

Pros:

La chambre en étage avec son petit balcon était charmante. La literie était confortable, la clim bien orientée et fonctionnelle. Super emplacement dans le vieux quartier au Nord du lac Hoan Kiem!

Cons:

Le nom de l'hôtel précise SPA, nous n'avons pas vu de salon de massage. Étrange configuration de la SDB avec les toilettes dans la douche ou inversement ! L'hôtel indique payement visa mais comme d'autres hôtels ils ajoutent une charge. Record constaté avec 10% demandé dans cet hôtel puis le 2e jour on nous indique qu'on peut faire un transfert sans frais.. Confus 😕

Bon rapport qualité prix
Pros:

L emplacement est très bien, en plein dans le quartier des 36 corporations et a 2 pas du lac. Petit frigo dans la chambre avec 2 bouteilles d eau offertes et bananes à volonté !
Personnel accueillant

Cons:

Nous avions la chambre 204: très étroite ( 180cm de large) et tout en longueur, du coup petit lit de 140.... Matelas très très ferme mais on a très bien dormi.

Makkelijk om Hanoi vanaf hier te ontdekken
Pros:

De locatie was perfect, precies in het centrum en 3 min lopen van beetstreet.
Daarnaast was het personeel super behulpzaam.

Cons:

Niks op af te merken. Alles wat je nodig hebt voor een standaard verblijf.

Friendly people in a bustling part of town
Pros:

For this type of hotel in Old Quarter, La Madera was great. The staff are very considerate and helped arrange transportatuon to and from the hotel easily. I came on a weekend and discovered the night market which means the roads are closed to vehicles starting at 6PM. It was nice to be out during the day and explore the shops during the lower traffic cooler times. Everything was closeby.

Cons:

The hotel was great. I have a bad back so I would just mention the mattress are quite firm, but still good and better than the spring mattresses I found at my other stay, and its really just a personal preference.

Pros:

Отель располагается в 100-300 м от озера Ngoc Son Temple, где начинается пешеходная/прогулочная зона (перекрывают улицы от байков и авто). В 5 минутах ночной рынок, барные улицы. Но!!! при этом в отеле это не слышно.
Номер чистый максимально на столько, насколько это возможно.
Персонал приветливый.

The location was great.
It was fairly quiet. Earplugs still useful to block out traffic noise.
AC was working well.

Cons:

The room was small, certainly smaller than in the pictures.
The aircon was leaking through the ceiling tiles in the bathroom.
Cash only, and the staff didn't even pretend to give a receipt or invoice.

Excelente ubicación, el chico que atendía en el Ovie era súper amable e incluso nos dejó pagar con tarjeta (transferencia de revolut). La habitación súper limpia y todo en orden.

Unfortunately, the photos of the property do not match the actual rooms, or at least not the one we were assigned. The room was located on a floor above the one accessible by elevator (which is absolutely acceptable), but it was significantly smaller than expected, not clean, and the bathroom had serious issues, with water coming out of both the sink and the toilet when flushing. We had to adapt for one night as we arrived late, but we left the following day as we did not feel comfortable at all.
