Pros:

The food here is excellent. I normally prefer to eat out, but this is the rare hotel where the restaurant is worth eating in.

The room was great - really comfortable, wonderfully presented, and with a brilliant bathroom.

The staff were on the whole wonderful. Very friendly and professional.

Looking forward to returning. Will definitely recommend.

Cons:

There was a younger member of staff serving us who really didn't seem to be having a good day. Fair enough - we're all human, but she did let it transfer into strangely cold and sometimes almost distainful service which was a shame. Everyone else was fabulous though so it was a small thing.
