Stairs. The closet and the table are a bit old. Bed isn't that comfortable but acceptable for a night or two.

Staff were helpful taking my luggage early and putting it in my room for my later arrival.
The location is first class for central Oxford and, incidentally, for the No 300 Redbridge Park and Ride. Virtually door to door. The bed was large and comfortable and the night was quiet, even with the room facing the road right opposite the theatre.
Oxford accommodation is expensive and, for this reason, the rate might be considered reasonable. It worked for me for one night.
I asked for a room at the rear and was given one at the front. No lift which is mentioned although could be a challenge for some. The room was ok although I don't believe a charity shop would take in the ancient decorative bed pillow full of bobbles. Carpets beige, curtains beige, zero attention to room aesthetics with some uninspiring prints. Wardrobe was free-standing and not in a great condition. No chair to sit on, no hairdryer. Bathroom was OK though. I do wish my room had looked more like the ones featured in the photos.

A good location, close to the bus station and many options for drinking/dining as well as the historical sights. The room was clean and had water and a kettle which is appreciated. Good glazing so no street noise.
The location cannot be better to walk around Oxford. Staff was super lovely, especially the female receptionist who greeted us. The room was spotless and you have all you need. I really appreciate it the water bottle as it was really hot this weekend. Very comfortable overall. Will return for sure!
Only that the corridors can get noisy from other guests entering and leaving. Perhaps a sign that ask for silence can work to make people a bit more thoughtful.
I traveled for Skoll. This hotel was perfect for the location. It is exactly what you would expect for a hotel of this class - perfect for my trip. I will stay here again.

Central location was excellent, and the staff were very helpful and accommodating. Could store your bags before check in and on the day we checked out which was brilliant
The bed was awful, cheap mattress and you could feel every spring!! Only one spare pillow in the room and we got back late so couldn't get another one.....pillows were really thin.
Bad smell on the landings and stairs which thankfully didn't reach the room.
You pay for the location and not the room, I wasn't expecting much to be honest reading other reviews, my expectations were low.

The convenience to everywhere especially as it is in the route from the train station to the city.
We had a front facing room and it was noisy outside on a night, but as long as the windows are closed the noisy was there but not bad enough to keep you awake.

Very cramped room . Noise of plumbing from other rooms
Lack of double glazing meant incredibly noisy all night and early morning.
